This deck needed more interaction and card draw. Drafna, Founder of Lat-Nam and Nexus of Becoming provides more artifact token copies outside of Mendicant Core. Uthros Research Craft is a great card engine and Thran Spider is ramp and card selection. Another sweeper is desperately needed so Supreme Verdict is in.

, and Phyrexian MetamorphSkrelv, Defector Mite is one of those cards that I tried not to play but is too dumb not to add in. Skrelv provides better evasion than Silver Raven. Like Ivy, Gleeful Spelltheif, M-Core copies spells so Twinning Staff is silly here, especially in multiples. Unctus, Grand Metatect is a buff and loots. Master of Etherium is the weakest of the scaling beaters. Hedron Archive cost more than Starting Column but taps for more mana. Phyrexian Metamorph is just dumb.

- In: Vnwxt, Verbose Host, The Aetherspark, Mistrise Village, Lonely Arroyo, Starting Column, Steel Seraph, and Leyline Axe.
- Out: Subterranean Schooner, Jhiora’s Familiar, Azorius Signet Diversion Unit, The Indomitable, Island, and Plains
Mistrise Village is the only new card from this set. Vnwxt, Verbose Host’s double draw is exactly what this deck needs because you rip through cards quickly. The Aetherspark being an artifact planewalker that buffs and draws cards fits very well in this shell. Lonely Arroyo for the ping. Starting Column is one more than Azorius Signet, but it can draw two and triggers Simulacrum Synthesizer. Steel Seraph is just a good utility card and Leyline Axe helps punch through damage.
