Ghosts of the Innocent

Creature — Spirit

If a source would deal damage to a creature or player, it deals half that damage, rounded down, to that creature or player instead.

Okay, so I do realize you ask for possible cuts, but I've honestly got too many things to list option-wise to say where a cut could/should be made. Some examples of options you may have missed:

Weird Harvest, Mana Flare, Dictate of Karametra, Howling Mine, Heartwood Storyteller, Shizuko, Caller of Autumn, Skullwinder, Horn of Greed, Helm of Awakening, Spectral Searchlight, Primal Vigor, Seed the Land, Bubble Matrix, Flux, Beacon of Immortality, Dawnbreak Reclaimer, Liege of the Hollows, Ghosts of the Innocent, Pulsemage Advocate, Orzhov Advokist, Wishmonger, Tangleroot. Storm Cauldron, Grove of the Burnwillows, Mikokoro, Center of the Sea, Geier Reach Sanitarium, Arbiter of Knollridge, Dakra Mystic, Concordant Crossroads, and

(my last two to mention that I cannot believe YOU don't even mention them how could you possibly have missed these and I'm metaphorically running out of air here)

Phelddagrif and Questing Phelddagrif.

BREATHES

whew. Okay, firstly I do not do "tldr" summaries, so I'm afraid you'll have to sift through the above the slow way (which that isn' even an exhaustive list btw).

Secondly, to help you sift through the above I would ask is there a specific manner in which you are wanting to help people? Do you like seeing certain gameplans win or hate others? By example is that I can see some cards like Hive Mind being too helpful possibly towards "storm" decks, but if you're playing a catch-all type of group hug then that's no big deal.

Another idea is are you into fringe group hug effects? By which I mean playing Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth just to help everyone mana fix that uses black. Or even playing Ink-Treader Nephilim in tandem with say Tempt with Reflections to give everybody an extra copy of literally every creature on their board and them some. Heck, if you ran Rite of Replication you could let everyone have EVERY creature on the board. The nephilim isn't directly a group hug card here but it has the potential to hug. Kinda like Guided Passage no?

Just some food for thought. ;D

This is the first deck in version 2.0. I first removed from the generic pool of guild cards the worst in a multiplayer environment: Dutiful Thrull, Mourning Thrull, Syndicate Enforcer, Blind Hunter, Beckon Apparition, Cry of Contrition, Conjurer's Ban, Purge the Profane, Shadow Lance, Gift of Orzhova and Moratorium Stone were simply too weak; Sin Collector and Castigate are great in 1v1, but not very much here. And I'm still dubious about Alms Beast. Then I tryed to improve the deck adding Droning Bureaucrats, Loxodon Gatekeeper, Sandsower, Spelltithe Enforcer, Ghosts of the Innocent Faith's Fetters and Sphere of Safety to slow down the opponents and take time to build a stable board so is possible to take advantage of all the life drain the deck offer. Then Moonlight Bargain and Underworld Connections for card draw, and finally some bombs: Skeletal Vampire, Angel of Serenity, Luminate Primordial, Sepulchral Primordial and Grave Betrayal. The deck now perform as a strong wall against enemies, stopping them while slowly draining their life.

Tons of info on spirits:

Commander Options
Karador, Ghost Chieftain - The most solid choice for card access and card quality.

Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker - Great with Shadowborn Apostle, otherwise you're just playing mono and Kokusho, the Evening Star is better for mono spirit tribal.

Ephara, God of the Polis - Cheaper spirits backed up by counters and card draw? Hells yeah!

Brago, King Eternal - His blink effects get pretty nuts. With cards like Mulldrifter and Flickerwisp you can do a lot of work while staying tribal.

Geist of Saint Traft - Ok I'm starting to think has a shot of Usurping Karador.

Oloro, Ageless Ascetic - Ok bear with me here. With some of the cards in the section titled "Oloro, Ageless Ascetic Support Cards" you'll see that spirits can help both with the control from the and side of things and the reanimation from the and side of things. Besides that both Brago and Geist of Saint Traft can be played in an Oloro Spirit Tribal deck!

Myojin
Myojin of Night's Reach
Myojin of Cleansing Fire
Myojin of Life's Web

Star
Kokusho, the Evening Star
Yosei, the Morning Star

Aspect
Iname, Death Aspect
Iname, Life Aspect

Generally Good Spirits
Windborn Muse
Karmic Guide
Sekki, Seasons' Guide
Seedborn Muse (5 Stars)
Spirit of the Labyrinth (Good if you have no draw, BAD if you are using Ephara, God of the Polis as your commander.

Full kamigawa with Arcane Spells
Infernal Kirin
Kodama of the South Tree (More aggro but great)

Karador, Ghost Chieftain Specific Support Spirits
Eternal Dragon

Control Heavy Support Spirits
Horobi, Death's Wail (First play Ascetacism)
Ghosts of the Innocent (Helps you stay alive)

Ephara, God of the Polis support
Blinking Spirit
Kiyomaro, First to Stand (Most likely to have a full hand with Ephara as commander)

Oloro, Ageless Ascetic Support Cards
Dreamborn Muse - Mill yourself to set up mass reanimation.
Cloudhoof Kirin - Mill yourself to set up mass reanimation.
Keiga, the Tide Star - Just mean.
Myojin of Seeing Winds - Draw lots of cards? Heck yeah!

Special Mention
Kataki, War's Wage - Can really hurt a lot of decks however it also prevents you from running a healthy amount of artifacts.

Seizan, Perverter of Truth - Used with Nekusar, the Mindrazer. If you are playing cards that prevent opponent's from drawing extra cards (Spirit of the Labyrinth) then his drawback is only a bonus. Aggressively costed but you MUST be able to negate the draw you're giving them.

Hopefully this helps you. And hopefully if you weren't talking about commander you'll consider it now. You won't get to cast the coolest spirit cards in other formats unless you're playing Goryo's Vengeance.
