Old Folks Loam is a comical list that I've been experimenting with on here to see if I can create a fully functioning deck themed only around cards relating to old people - since I'm usually the eldest at the table these days. Every card other than the lands either has "old" or "ancient" or "elder" or something somewhere on it, but the funnier mentions definitely go out to more obscure reference cards like Altar of Dementia and Tragic Slip.

Any of the multicolor legendary creatures could be fine commanders here, but I just like how many little things that Old Rutstein does for us. He's not too threatening like Old Stickfingers or Grismold, and he's also not too potent like Baba Lysaga or Beledros. I think Old Rutstein falls in a perfect gOLDilocks zone of commanders that really smooth out our game over time without drawing hate from opponents, all while collecting treasures, insects, and blood along the way - the retirement dream if you ask me!
