This deck is a memorial to the man himself, Gideon Jura. Your goal is basically to attack with Gideon and have enough defenses to protect him from your opponents. There are several planeswalker tutors like Arena Rector and Call the Gatewatch to get Gideon out of your deck and into the front lines. The anthem effects such as Honor of the Pure help Gideon and your other creatures kill your opponent's creatures. The deck also has typical pillow fort cards like Sphere of Safety. I included Felidar Sovereign because I found that gaining life is really easy for the deck, and since you're already focused on defense, it won't be too hard to keep your high life total.

Combo: Emeria Shepard + Gideon, Ally of Zendikar As long as you have a plains in hand, you can put the land into play, get Gideon onto the field and ult him. This will put Gideon back into the graveyard, which you can then get him back out with Emaria Shepard. This basically means you have infinite +1+1 emblems. This combo is much easier with Endless Horizons because it allows you to guarantee the Shepard trigger. Just make sure that Oath of Gideon is not on the battlefield while trying to perform this combo, as it will make Gideon enter with an extra counter, meaning he won't die when you ult him.
