Here I have attempted to construct a fast and effective mill deck on a budget. Although the cards have been slightly limited, this deck must still follow the basic mechanics of mill. i.e. mill, draw, and control. Budget Version Replace Glimpse the Unthinkable with Mind Sculpt and adjust the lands accordingly. Architecture Mill Base Tome Scour Breaking Glimpse the Unthinkable Mind Funeral Jace, Memory Adept Archive Trap Keening Stone Draw Mechanic Visions of Beyond Jace, Memory Adept Control Fog Bank Guard Gomazoa Memoricide Haunting Echoes Game Plan Plan A Tome Scour Breaking/Glimpse the Unthinkable Mind Funeral Breaking/Glimpse the Unthinkable + Tome Scour OR some defence (Fog Bank/Guard Gomazoa) etc. NOTE: you may have to slow this down to play creatures and control as needed. Plan B - Not Yet Implemented Ghost Quarter + 4 free Archive Traps Future Updates Increase Mind Funeral count Possibly include the Archive Trap + Ghost Quarter combo. Possibly include Dimir Guildgate prt Watery Grave depending on budget. I am worried that Dimir Guildgate will slow the deck down too much. Blue Sun's Zenith may be bropught back after tialing the additional Visions of Beyond. I doubt it though. Surgical Extraction and Extirpate might provide a better defence. I will trial this idea a few times and come back to it later. Possibly include the Duskmantle Guildmage + Mindcrank combo MUST find a way to counter Elixir of Immortality. e.g. Leyline of the Void, Cranial Extraction , Memoricide , Surgical Extraction, Extirpate, Pithing Needle, Tormod's Crypt.
