My first crack at building a commander deck. Mono green seemed like a good place to start. I have a funky collection built through my love of opening packs and a brief period of play in the mid 90's. I recently decided to see what I could do with the cards I have accumulated. Luckily, I kept a catalogue of my cards and have been able to upload most of it to this site. Some friends and I took a crack at each creating a mono-commander deck with a single artifact, as a way to get an idea of what my collection's strengths are. I selected Green for my first deck, mostly because I had recently opened an Old Gnawbone (though it doesn't appear in this deck). This is the deck I came up with (with plenty of help), it performed pretty well in our limited format. Ramping with elves while building wide with to get gigantic creatures in play.
Any input you want to give is greatly appreciated.
