The idea is to have a deck that showcases all of the Godzilla Universe cards in a deck that is strong enough to sit at a casual table. It takes the theme of being a part of the monster verse seriously, only having 2 Humans in the deck and minimal artifacts.

The deck showcases the power of the mutate mechanic by mutating key creatures such as Hydra Omnivore or Heartfire Hero to end the game. Or, target creatures like Horrid Shadowspinner or Kunoros, Hound of Athreos for utility outside of the expected targets of Mysterious Egg or Crystalline Giant.

Now we have a powerful commander in the command zone, so let's make use of that too! Infinite Guideline Station makes use of the many multicolored creatures featured in the deck . Reminder when you mutate, the mutated creature keeps the properties of the top card, but the abilities of the bottom card. It also targets cards so your Heartfire Hero gets the +1 counter while transforming into Illuna, Apex of Wishes! They want to remove the creature? Cool, each opponent will take 7 damage at that point for killing our mutated hero.

How do we win? Good old fashioned combat damage and outvaluing opponents. Mutating creatures has a similar concept to playing planeswalkers, you get free spells every time you use it. Our monsters are bigger and can station our commander quickly. We start getting card advantage once we start mutating or attacking with our commander. However, if someone is giving you trouble, go ahead and oneshot them with card:Door to Nothingess. After all, Kaiju's came from a portal in Pacific Rim!

While our commander is a 3 turn clock with commander damage, we can power it up with Knight of New Alara, Civic Saber, Radha, Coalition Warlord, and/or The Skullspore Nexus. Remember, you can station Radha even after your commnder becomes a creature to avoid having her attack. Once the commander is out, we have some great targets too mutate with it as well. We can get a multicolored 15/15 spirit from Kin-Tree Invocation, or start bashing in with a 19/19 Freelance Muscle.

Most mutate creatures provide evasion with trample or flying, but we are also rocking Bower Passage and Cactusfolk Sureshot to help out a little more.

Things not going our way? Use Parting Thoughts on our own commander to draw 12+ cards into an answer, or cast Divine Reckoning and have the table try to 1v1 our kaiju. Or use Blasphemous Act since blasphemy can't reach our spaceship (It's a 7/15). We can always bring back most of our stuff with Nethroi, Apex of Deathfoil or Boneyard Lurker.

The deck does is a little slow with 4 triomes; but we make use of that by utilizing 2 drop mana dorks and rocks that tap for all colors. We can also use Unbender Tine as another mana rock, a way to untap a creature after stationing, or to reactivate The Skullspore Nexus to kill someone in one swing!
