Mono Black Control with Korlash, Heir to Blackblade as the primary win condition. Heavy on the board control, with the primary destruction engines being Lethal Vapors/Call to the Grave/Woebringer Demon. Recursion is a subtheme, with Xiahou Dun, the One-Eyed/Yawgmoth's Will able to pull back my destruction enchants/sweepers primarily, and Woebringer Demon + Phyrexian Reclamation or imprinted onto a Mimic Vat to keep the stax up. The recursion engines also provide easy abuse of Solemn Simulacrum/Burnished Hart, synergizing well with the general to pump Korlash sky high on Swamps.

The primary win con is Korlash suited up with a few equipments. The deck goes for 1-2 swing kills if possible. Due to his scaling nature, he is slow to start (hence the heavy control theme), but can achieve 1-2 shot power fairly easily when suited with a Lash/Fireshrieker. Sword of Vengeance is an all star, being the primary equipment tutored for as it gives him both evasion and haste, the two major things he is lacking as a Voltron commander.

Major combos:-Mimic Vat + Solemn Simulacrum/Burnished Hart = heavy ramp

-Mimic Vat/Volrath's Stronghold/Phyrexian Reclamation + Woebringer Demon/Magus of the Abyss = repeatable stax effects

-Lethal Vapors/Call to the Grave + Korlash = regeneration/zombie so he can be played into these cards

-Liliana of the Dark Realms + Korlash = constant swamps, single target removal or Nightmare Lash effects, and super Caged Sun all on one planeswalker
