Time to tap all the things!

This deck, helmed by Hylda of the Icy Crown, aims to tap all the things so that we can make a huge army of 4/4 elementals to beat down. This is a deckbuilding archetype that hasn't really had much support outside of Rhoda, Geist Avenger + Timin, Youthful Geist , so I was really excited to give it a try! Its a deck that tries to control the board using tap effects while building up an army to beat down with in the late game. Hylda's suite of abilities provide you with a ton of value, either going wide with tokens, growing your board with +1/+1 counters, or digging you through your deck to find the pieces you need.

The deck has a ton of ways to tap down your opponent's creatures. For individually tapping your opponents creatures, there are many creatures of our own with activated abilities that tap things down, like Giant Killer and Squall Drifter, cantripping instants like Hithlain Knots and Choking Tethers, the latter of which can tap down multiple creatures in the late game, or repeatable effects like Citadel Siege and Sentinel of the Eternal Watch. Some of our tapped trigger based on other actions we may take, like Retreat to Coralhelm and Guardian of Tazeem which tap things when we play lands. To tap multiple creatures at once, as Hylda's ability isn't a "one or more" style of effect, cards like Blinding Light, Turnabout, and Githzerai Monk. The deck also takes advantage of auras that tap down creatures like Burden of Guilt, Narcolepsy, and Freed from the Real which can even untap them if we have the extra mana just to tap them again and again.

There are even a few small combos with Hylda. Cards like Court Street Denizen and Kapsho Kitefins tap creatures our opponents control when we have creatures enter, so if we make a 4/4 blue and white Elemental with Hylda, it will trigger the Denizen or Kitefins over and over again. Also if our opponents happen to not have any creatures, we can always give them some with Akroan Horse or Forbidden Orchard.

Some other neat cards that havent really had a place to shine are the aforementioned Rhoda, Geist Avenger + Timin, Youthful Geist and Verity Circle, which provide us with useful abilities when our opponent's creatures become tapped, as well as new cards like Sharae of Numbing Depths and Icewrought Sentry.

I'll admit, tapping down creatures over and over again may get annoying, but the deck seems fun and interesting, allowing me to build around a new strategy that isn't often explored. I'm excited to try out Hylda of the Icy Crown when Wilds of Eldraine comes out, and will continue to look for new cards to add as more cards get spoiled. Anyways, thank you so much for taking the time to check out the deck! If there are any cards you think I should add or remove, or other effects you think may be worth exploring in this type of deck, please let me know! Thanks and have a nice day :)
