Narcolepsy

Enchantment — Aura

Enchant creature

At the beginning of each upkeep, if enchanted creature is untapped, tap it.

Given the text on Narcolepsy, I guess my main question is, is "The beginning of each upkeep" and the untap step concurrent?

The untap step can't be after "the beginning" of your upkeep, then the card would be useless except as an Inspired machine. Unless I forget how the steps are organized?

Narcolepsy may be a card you want to look at instead of/in addition to Claustrophobia. Similar effect for one less mana

Flooremoji those are great suggestions! I really like enchantments, too. Curse of Chains and Narcolepsy would be great answers to the problem at hand. What planeswalkers would you suggest? Gideon Jura works to blow up tapped creatures as well as a beatstick himself. Do you think Gideon's Avenger is a viable card, or just removal fodder?

Well, I like Curse of Chains and Narcolepsy as draw with Verity Circle , while also getting rid of the creature permenantly. Sleep effects can act as Fog s, which lets you experiment with a sort of Turbo-Fog stratagy that uses tap spells, extra draw artifacts and VC to draw enough cards to potencially win with Nexus of Fate and Temple Bell . Forbidden Orchard , while not great, is probably the best option for beating control, aside from somthing like Boseju + a Gain 2 life every turn card.

I like Pwks as a potential win con, because they aren't vulnerable to Creature removal.

Hope this helps!

I'm still new to the format, but Immobilizing Ink and Refocus both looked a bit meh and am not sure how effect they are. Focus seems fine since it cycles, I just wasn't sure how often it ends up being dead in hand. Ink, however, looked costly since you have to pay 2U and discard two cards in-order to tutor one. I'm Still collecting the cards for the deck to get in my first game (12 to go) so thanks for your insight on Narcolepsy.

Thank you for feedback, Zlkas!

Narcolepsy is weak card for competitive PDH at all. So, its gonna be useless if i cant play with Disciple on table. Also, i lose this permanent as fast as i lose Disciple, so its disadvantage me. Other tap things like Viridian Longbow would be better, because they make value.

Dream's Grip Is nice and fast. But, what card you would remove to fit this one in deck?
