- Don't play Counterspell. You tap out most of your turns, and the double blue is not going to work with your mana base.
- Don't play blue at all. Halimar Excavator in this build is weak, as you have only 2 March from the Tomb as a payoff. And that is also not the best. Void Rend can be replaced by a lot of other removals.
- You should avoid 5 mana cards. With only 20 lands in your deck, you won't be able to play them.
- Play 4 Hada Freeblade. It's the best turn 1 play you have.
- An aggro deck needs some other 1 mana plays as well. I would suggest maybe some 2 Expedition Envoy, 2 Changeling Outcast and 1 Cliffside Lookout. That would bring the number of 1 mana creatures in your deck to 9, which is about right if you want to have one in your opening hand.
- Retreat to Emeria and Kor Entanglers are garbage. Don't play any of them.
- Don't play more than 1 Lantern Scout. Second copy does pretty much nothing. Talus Paladin is better and you should play 2-3.
- In the end, you have to decide whether you want to go all-in on life-gain/drain, or all-in on attacking and +1/+1 counters. Now you are split and then you do neither efficiently.
- The path with attacking is probably better. In that case, you want to play 4 Kazandu Blademaster, 4 Bojuka Brigand, 4 Kabira Evangel, a few Rally the Ranks and remove Cliffhaven Vampire, Ondu Cleric.
- If you go with life-gain, add 4 Serene Steward

elliotmward97 sometimes yes, though it depends on which ally you’re talking about because different allies have different effects.
For the more powerful allies, you’ve got it right. Something like Hagra Diabolist will deal damage = [number of allies entering the battlefield] x [total allies, including those entering the battlefield]. So if you had the Diabolist in play with one other ally and then 2 more allies ETB, you’d have target opponent lose 8 life (4 allies total x 2 ally ETB triggers).
This calculation also applies to allies like Halimar Excavator, Ondu Cleric and Murasa Pyromancer.
Some of the ally triggers are pretty simple though, so Umara Raptor just gets a +1/+1 counter for each ally ETB. If two allies ETB at once, then the raptor gets two +1/+1 counters - he doesn’t care about the number of allies you control.

Just two small fixes I think should be made: Change Ondu Cleric and Veteran Warleader out for Eternal Witness and Regrowth for more redundancy.

Hey. Thanks for putting this together. I play-tested it quite a bit and have some recommended improvements:
I dropped all the Stolen Identity because it is slow. You have to pay 6, then cipher it. To get your value out of it, you then have to have a creature connect in combat. I found that the deck works best to simply never attack anyway.
I also dropped all Clones: Clone Legion, Cackling Counterpart, Jwari Shapeshifter. If your gameplan is to hit with Rite of Replication for win, having more clones doesn't really benefit much and those slots can be used to speed up your game or offer defenses for yourself and your creatures.
I found that my creatures were dying too quickly as chump blockers or to red spell damage/black destruction.
For this, I added 2 copies of Steely Resolve. And to protect myself, 4 copies of Ghostly Prison
Ondu Cleric can generate a ton of life for you and buy you the time you need for your combos. Especially when you chump block with him, then use flicker him off and on the field with Ephemerate or Cloudshift. But I wanted Allies that boost the P/T of other allies so I could take out some attackers with my blockers and not have to rely on flicker gimmicks. Enter Adaptive Automaton.
I won't bore you with all of the changes I made and my reasons for each change. Here's the updated 60 card list. I appreciate the deck you posted. It lent me some great inspiration and I hope you enjoy what I've done with it:
- Artifact
- 1x Herald's Horn
- Creature
- 4x Adaptive Automaton
- 4x Halimar Excavator
- 3x Harabaz Druid
- 4x Ondu Cleric
- 3x Sea Gate Loremaster
- 3x Unsettled Mariner
- Enchantment
- 4x Ghostly Prison
- Instant
- 2x Cloudshift
- 4x Ephemerate
- Sorcery
- 2x Rite of Replication
- 3x Serum Visions
- Land (My lands need some refinement)
- 2x Ally Encampment
- 1x Cavern of Souls
- 4x Flooded Strand
- 1x Forest
- 1x Island
- 2x Misty Rainforest
- 2x Mutavault
- 1x Plains
- 2x Temple Garden
- 2x Breeding Pool
- 3x Hallowed Fountain
PS: Halimar Excavator + Rite of Replication hits for 180 milled cards (assuming there are no other allies present when the combo goes off).
If you are interested in what I've done with the decklist, let me know and I'll be happy to share my reasons for some of the changes.
Cheers!

I love playing more "static" cards like the one looks like Marilyn Manson, Ondu Cleric and Zulaport Cutthroat and a lot of bounce. And for budget playing i love Cryptolith Rite but with your version of deck may be bad because better attack. For now i don't have ally deck but you inspired me to make one :)

Rally To Me!!!

Rally the Ancestors is on-theme, while Zulaport Cutthroat/Kalastria Healer enables an aristocrats theme.
This lets you lower the overall CMC of the deck- in modern playing more creatures quickly is basically mandatory unless you are packing a lot of powerful disruption.
Skipping that, lets look at flat upgrades and options from modern. Unearth is better than raise dead. Honor of the Pure will almost always be better as another ally creature. Ordeal of Heliod is cute lifegain, but since most lifegain is intended for burn, it getting countered by a Searing Blaze hurts bad. Ondu Cleric will perform its role excellently.
Drana, Liberator of Malakir is the most efficient ally 'lord', even if they aren't a lord. Flying is super relevant too. Still, it being good makes it expensive.
Past that, naming ally for tribal lands is good. Unclaimed Territory and fixing like Beastcaller Savant gives access to the rest of the cheaper allies and will be the most efficient way to spend your budget- Jwari Shapeshifter and Oran-Rief Survivalist will go a long way to taking it from 'casual funstuff' to 'strong casual stuff'.
