I totally agree, M:tG is at it’s best when you can talk to your opponent, preferably at a table in real life. I played some just last night and got some new insight into my Knights, Elves and Vampires. I’m going to make some tweaks to all of them; some tweaks based on your suggestions too.

I’ve also looked at Heightened Reflexes for this deck instead of, or in combination with Stolen Vitality/Vampiric Fury. Fist strike counters should fit well together wit +1/+1 counters, but haven’t made a “final decision” yet. And I’ll write you once I’ve decided on anything regarding Rakish Heir vs Stensia Masquerade.

Great idea. I think I will try it with Heightened Reflexes instead, because the first strike persists. But I may go with Weapon Surge in the end.

griffstick thanks!! It's not among my top 5 favorites yet, but maybe after playing it some it will be!

Think of Heightened Reflexes as a Reflexes but at instant speed. I really value first-strike because it makes Falthis the best blocker around and a protected attacker if need be. Downhill Charge and Mercadia's Downfall are nice but there's no guarantee I can get them to +5, which is the magic number. I have Sadistic Glee. Mirage Mirror is such a cool card and I'll probably throw it in, yeah.

Traded out Sure Strike for Heightened Reflexes . I like being able to leave First Strike behind.

Heat Shimmer >> Intimidation Bolt so I can kill one of my tokens and not have an enemy attack me. (Also politics)

Mana Geode >> Grafted Exoskeleton for infect damage. I have enough rocks as it is.

Cut Sun Titan even though he was as foil :( for Tethmos High Priest .

Cut Fabled Hero because he's kind of selfish, isn't he? Replaced with Livewire Lash .

Someday will replace Renegade Tactics with a similar instant that gives me draw. But not this day. Not this day.
