So I made a series of 3 decks that are all creatureless, this is the Black contribution to the set. The other two are Omnath, Ramp Destruction and Noyan Dar, Land Shaper. This decks is fairly straightforward in the fact that it continues to put a clock on the game by enchanting the board with life costing effects or just damage per turn, such as Polluted Bonds, Painful Quandary, Baneful Omen , or the more fun Armageddon Clock . I hope that I get just enough life gain to outlast my own shenanigans. There is not a bunch of removal in terms of spells, but there are some good cards to get the job done to control massive attacks Spreading Plague , No Mercy or Lethal Vapors for deterrence. The deck is pretty fun to play, my opponents generally enjoy the different deck type. It holds its own in a casual playgroup, and will do well in a semi-competitive group as well. Mono-black generally ramps well and if you have the life can redraw through Erebos, God of the Dead to overcome boardwipes.
