I'd say that you either run Collected Company or Lead the Stampede, and Stampede looks like it works better here. Mostly because Stampede doesn't force you to change your deck, and it can grab monsters like Ghalta, Primal Hunger. And it costs less.

CoCo is best in multi-colored decks, especially with . Mostly because it gets access to a lot more 3-mana creatures and some great toolbox pieces.

On Aspect of Hydra and Walking Ballista, removal type cards always seem weird when playtesting. They often feel like empty cards, until you go up against someone else and actually need it. Now, it's entirely possible that they both suck here. It really depends on your preferred curve. However, I think you could still keep Ballista in either situation because it's removal, mana sink, decent sized creature, growable creature, perfect fit for your curve, and much much more. But it's really up to you.

Glad that the SB tips helped! Petitioner is so much better than Acolyte, the mana shave off helps a ton.

On Lovestruck Beast, it can be a decent blocker but there's probably some other decent beatstick for 3 in the format. Maybe Boon Satyr, Deathgorge Scavenger, Deathmist Raptor, Fairgrounds Trumpeter if you use it right, Jadelight Ranger, Kaheera, the Orphanguard(can also be your companion), Prowling Serpopard, Tireless Tracker, Wayward Swordtooth, or Witchstalker.

The following cards are out: Contagion Clasp - Proliferate is nice, but it doesn't perform at all when it hits the field. Return to Nature - played dozens of games. Keeps sitting in my hand with nothing to do. Fairgrounds Trumpeter - its ok, but I only ever got it to play once. Gruul Spellbreaker - Sure, it's hexproof and has riot, but it's just a early mid game blocker is all. Hunter's Prowess - never played it. Escape to the Wilds - on paper it's powerful, in practice it makes me lose the game. Return of the Wildspeaker - Just doesn't do much. Nissa, Voice of Zendikar - looked great, but really is not that great. Longshot Squad - Might be situation-ally good, but I never played it really. Rishkar, Peema Renegade - It's just really not doing anything for me so it's getting put onto the maybe list.

Cards ADDED to the list Birthing Pod Mycoloth Talisman of Impulse Goblin Matron Champion of Lambholt Krenko's Command Goblin Sharpshooter Thermopod Mwonvuli Beast Tracker - THE ONLY human in this deck...lol. Dark-Dweller Oracle

I'd highly suggest adding in Cultivate, etc. for ramp; Inspiring Call for card draw and protection; Armorcraft Judge for card draw; Bristling Hydra nice body and makes a +1/+1 counter; Fairgrounds Trumpeter could get big easily; Retreat to Kazandu +1/+1 counters just for playing lands; Durable Handicraft for more +1/+1 counter generation; Abzan Battle Priest, Abzan Falconer, Ainok Bond-Kin, Tuskguard Captain, and Longshot Squad for great keywords; Regna, the Redeemer because you have a bunch of life-gain effects for her to make an army all on her own; and ways to close out the game like Overwhelming Stampede, etc.

As for a few cuts: Danitha Capashen, Paragon does very little work with only 6 relevant spells; Resolute Archangel is expensive for her effect and has no synergy with +1/+1 counters; Surrak, the Hunt Caller I do not see haste for one creature being a huge deal, this seems to be a more slow build-up strategy; and cut it down to 36 lands plus ~10 sources of ramp (that is what I do at least).

Fun looking budget build, good job!

Hey, Corpsejack Menace isn't a legendary creature so it can't be used as your commander.

Still a cool idea for a deck. Additional good pauper cards are Winding Constrictor, Fairgrounds Trumpeter, and Battering Krasis. Kalonian Hydra would work great with corpsejack as well, but it's a bit expensive for pauper.

Consider also using lands like Llanowar Reborn and Turntimber Grove.

Nice deck, I love +1/+1 counters in commander

No Loxodon Warhammer in the Elephant deck? Why run Fairgrounds Trumpeter with 0 other +1/+1 counters cards? Other options at three mana are Frontier Mastodon or even Trained Armodon. Some other Equipments to consider are O-Naginata (every creature in your deck meets its condition), Golem-Skin Gauntlets (so any creature can get as buff as the Punisher), and Grafted Wargear (it equips for , so it can be moved around easily, and buffs a 4/4 into a 7/6, which seems pretty good.)

Do you think there is place for Fairgrounds Trumpeter here ?

Seems like a solid gameplan TitanofYAW. Have you thought about putting in counter engines like Durable Handicraft, Might Beyond Reason, or Obsessive Skinner? These could easily combo with Fairgrounds Trumpeter to create another big threat over time.

The Throne of the God-Pharaoh seems out of place here, I understand the reasoning for it but it just seems that it doesn't fit the idea of the deck as well as something else.

I feel that to help out the -1/-1 counter plan you could look at Liliana, Death Wielder, I understand this may cost quite a bit but she would give you continuous snakes and can kill creatures for Yahenni.

Sideboard options: I would recommend adding Take Down to deal with fliers more efficiently than the deck already can. Maybe adding 2 Appetite for the Unnatural to further protect against artifacts and deal with enchantments when needed.

I hope these suggestions help fuel some new/interesting ideas.
