Seems like a solid gameplan TitanofYAW. Have you thought about putting in counter engines like Durable Handicraft, Might Beyond Reason, or Obsessive Skinner? These could easily combo with Fairgrounds Trumpeter to create another big threat over time.
The Throne of the God-Pharaoh seems out of place here, I understand the reasoning for it but it just seems that it doesn't fit the idea of the deck as well as something else.
I feel that to help out the -1/-1 counter plan you could look at Liliana, Death Wielder, I understand this may cost quite a bit but she would give you continuous snakes and can kill creatures for Yahenni.
Sideboard options: I would recommend adding Take Down to deal with fliers more efficiently than the deck already can. Maybe adding 2 Appetite for the Unnatural to further protect against artifacts and deal with enchantments when needed.
I hope these suggestions help fuel some new/interesting ideas.

Bissin thank you for the suggestions! I definitely see where you are going from with the Throne of the God-Pharaoh I just got the idea because I got both of those cards in my sealed prerelease and liked the dynamic. But Liliana, Death Wielder is definitely a better fit in the deck.

dankmim thanks for the suggestion! So far in my play testing I haven't had an issue getting 5 mana, how much mana were you running in your counters deck? I do think that Decimator Beetle is a better combo in this deck, especially with Channeler Initiate. Tap her, take one off, get another mana, attack with Decimator Beetle take another off her and put it on your opponent's creature! She's back up to 2/3.

16 basic lands (8 black 8 green) and 4 of the kaladesh green/black dual land that enters tapped unless you control 2 or fewer lands. But my point is, that I found Soulstinger just to be a more effective card since you stack a lot of -1 -1 counters on it, get a lot of scarabs from Nest of Scarabs and when it dies it puts a crap load of -1 -1 counters on a creature, and if it's a big threat than it becomes miniscule. Decimator Beetle is better for the mana ramp though.

TitanofYAW I'm glad I could be of some help. I can see the use for both Decimator Beetle and Soulstinger, Personally I would run Soulstinger and here is why. Channeler Initiate becomes your mana ramp when you get it out, removing a counter from it without its ability makes you lose that mana, while late game this may not be an issue early game this is very helpful. When Decimator Beetle comes out it will trigger Nest of Scarabs and when it attacks it triggers again. Soulstinger will also trigger Nest of Scarabs, but this time twice. When Soulstinger dies you again get to trigger Nest of Scarabs giving you more use from that. Both creatures have their advantages, perhaps sideboard Soulstinger to swap with Decimator Beetle if you need a slightly earlier drop that will give you an pseudo-removal spell when it dies.
If I may ask, I created a R/W aggro deck (before prerelease) that I am just starting to play test. I would greatly appreciate any feedback you may have for it. Budget R/W Vehicles Aggro

Quick question here: Have you considered running Baleful Ammit and Defiant Greatmaw. I only ask cause im currently in the midst of building this deck because I love the idea and I have quite a few of the cards. I was thinking you could run the Ammit in the sideboard just in case you need lifegain and the Greatmaw for negative counter control on your end, just in case its a long game and you need to remove counters. It also adds to your Soulstinger too and triggers Hapatra for more snakes. Anyways great deck +1 from me!
