Elkin Lair

World Enchantment

At the beginning of each player's upkeep, that player removes a card at random in his or her hand from the game. The player may play that card this turn. At end of turn, if the player hasn't played the card, he or she puts it into his or her graveyard.

I have a yidris chaos deck that is hands down the most fun deck I have ever played. Have you considered: Yidris, Maelstrom Wielder , Shared Fate , Storm Cauldron and Burgeoning , Havoc Festival , Choice of Damnations , Timesifter , Sands of Time , or Master of Predicaments ?

I have never had great luck with Wild Evocation , it usually acts as a more group hug card than chaos. I would try Elkin Lair .

If you want a chaotic wincon, Reins of Power has never failed to disappoint.

I built a Zedruu the Greathearted chaos deck with no real win condition. It's great at making the game just crazy. I only play it with my playgroup when everyone is okay with having that kind of game. The only time my deck has ever 'won' was when my friend was piloting it and had Elkin Lair, Hive Mind and Eye of the Storm out with a few different instants and sorceries under it and the game state just became crazy so the rest of us conceded. Everyone had fun, but everyone at the table has to want to have that kind of fun.

If you're new into EDH I'd agree with Rapid_Wombat and start with something a little more straightforward.

Some friends and I have all started making prismatic singleton decks with the inclusion of this rule: "Any card that would be shuffled back into a deck is instead exiled, and any card that would warrant a deck to be shuffled for any other reason is banned." Our goal isn't to make "good" decks, but to instead create absolutely ridiculous and unpredictable play.

So, I'm asking for suggestions of cards that could single-handedly turn the game completely inside out without necessarily giving me or any specific player an advantage. To list a few examples I've come across, Teferi's Puzzle Box, Timesifter, Scrambleverse, Eye of the Storm, and Elkin Lair. I'd also like to include cards like Raging River but don't see myself really wanting to spend a small fortune, so please keep your suggestions cheap.
