How do you win before turn 5 in a multiplayer game?

Podkomorka, I have won in the following fashion in multiplayer:

Turn 1 - Forest, Exploration, land, Amulet of Vigor.

Turn 2 - Lotus Cobra, fetch land then fetch, Crucible of Worlds, fetch from graveyard, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, fetch from graveyard two more times, Phyrexian Altar.

Turn 3 - fetch land from graveyard but don't fetch, Omnath, Locus of Rage, crack fetch land, elemental, fetch from graveyard three more times, six more elementals, sac two elementals for mana, Tooth and Nail entwine for Purphoros, God of the Forge and Avenger of Zendikar, ten plant tokens.

Turn 4 - fetch from graveyard four times, eight more elementals, Scapeshift for 14 lands, or sac the current elementals for finishing damage to not overkill I guess. Ummm gg everyone!

Damn thats one hell of a god hand+. I did read that your deck is a kind of version of that really popular Omnath deck on tappedout. I'm concerned with the competitive tag for the lists as they very rarely win on the turns competitive edh decks play at, let alone interact enough with other players to stop them from winning just as early. Even less top tier competitive metas fight to win on turns 3, 4, and 5 every game, its not just a god hand its consistently the same.

It's not about how you build omnath, its a matter of potential. Omnaths been around for plently long now. Even as soon as he was released no competitive players saw any potential in him. The best omnath deck someone can make wont be competitive edh viable, it would just be a good omnath deck.

And i dont think I play against assholes XD just because we play competitive edh and games end turn 4 everytime doesnt make us assholes, we enjoy what we play. And your group is the same in that way but not competitive im asuming from this list and the decks you listed as your playgroup.

I actually really like r/g edh, it's actually pretty fun. You should consider the original omnath Omnath, Locus of Mana. Also loving the mana fetch, you could speed it up with Courser of Kruphix. And for tokens of run Doubling Season and Parallel Lives. Additionally you could consider Burning-Tree Shaman, Mina and Denn, Wildborn, Oracle of Mul Daya, Rampaging Baloths, Atarka's Command, Gruul Charm, Signal the Clans, Clan Defiance, Ground Assault, Exploding Borders, Fires of Yavimaya, Xenagos, God of Revels. The list goes on. I might suggest you take a look at the gatherer, it has every card ever printed and an intelligent means to search for them

If you find time, you would like to hear your insight on my Ramos and Taigam reanimator decks :)

I really enjoy your list, I found some similarities between your Omnath and my Omnath EDH but I definetly found some stuff in yours to upgrade my list.

My only tentative suggestion: Seasons Past, it has been very handy in my games, typically getting me 5-7 cards back.

But overall, I really like your angry elemental list, +1 from me.

Traverse the Outlands might be a handy inclusion.

I'm considering on adding Manabond + Storm Cauldron . I'm thinking to possibly cut Stranglehold and Tempt with Discovery for them. Any thoughts?

Thanks Weird_Frisbee, I included Seasons Past to the deck.

Nice deck! I play tested it against my own Mina & Denn deck. I had no idea Manabond was a card. Also didn't realize how crazy sack outlets for you elementals are. I noticed a few things though:

Maybe include a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx? Although your creature count isn't that high, you'd be surprised how nice the few extra mana can be (also more food for you wave of vitriol).

Also, it seems like you have almost no draw outlets. Adding any of Harmonize, Life's Legacy, Shamanic Revelation, Collective Unconscious, Garruk's Packleader, Regal Force, Soul of the Harvest and Tireless Tracker will help you get all the cards you need to win really fast.

You have a ton of really terrifying 'destroy everything' cards, but most of them cost 5+ mana and if you have multiple of them in your hand you I noticed the return on the extras was not the most exciting. Maybe try switching out one or two for cheaper cards like Song of the Dryads or Beast Within? Then you can also cast them for free with Rishkar's Expertise too.

Finally, if you want an extra copy of any elemental in your deck, Flamekin Harbinger is a lot of fun.

Love this deck though. You got some great combos. :D

agreed. Shamanic Revelation (trust me, you need the lifegain as much as the draw) and Tireless Tracker are AWESOME for omnath.

I've experimented with Cream of the Crop, you may find that it helps filter out the junk to help your draw quality on it's own, but when it's coupled with cards like Elemental Bond or Garruk's Packleader it turns CotC into a pseudo tutor engine with all the tokens you're pumping out allowing you to grab what ever you want out your deck (essentially). I've never lost with this combo in play. ever.

ALSO; no Genesis Wave? no Boundless Realms? or even a Green Sun's Zenith? these three are staples in EVERY omnath deck out there. I'm curious to know why you don't run them.

Captain_Shakespeare, thank you for all of your suggestions! Currently at this time I am not looking to make any changes to the build. I'll be sure to keep your recommendations in mind for future updates. As for Shamanic Revelation, it is in this build. I also have 11 cards that are used for draw in the deck. I don't feel it's too necessary to include more. I do run a side board that supports as a removal package. I'll include it in the list at some point in time. It includes the following: Acidic Slime, Beast Within, Chaos Warp, Decimate, Hull Breach, Krosan Grip, Pyroblast, Reclamation Sage, Red Elemental Blast and Song of the Dryads. Nonetheless, thank you for checking out my ARMAGEDDON build. I hope it didn't disappoint. It has been devastating within my playgroup.

feyn_do_alduin, your suggestions have always been much appreciated! You have been very resourceful when I first constructed A Michael Bay Film, Omnath: Age of Explosions! v3. With that being said, I removed such cards as Tireless Tracker, Genesis Wave, Boundless Realms, and Green Sun's Zenith to include my land destruction package. Those are great cards, no doubt! They just didn't fit the flavor of what I was trying to achieve this go around. Thank you again, for all of your help!

Starsky2814 oOoOoOo...this is spicy, I really dig the layout of this build, seems crazy strong and pretty fast for an Omnath build...plus it's all shiny with foils.

I have nothing to suggest other than, get more people to upvote this bad boy!!! +1

usaDiabetic, thanks for checking out my latest Omnath build and thanks for the +1! This version of Omnath has been bringing on the destruction and laying waste within my playgroup. Once the LD hits, they can't seem to recover from it like good ol' Omnath can.

Consider including a Dryad Arbor, because it makes Green Sun's Zenith a better one Mana rampant growth.

This may not be helpful but once at my LGS I borrowed another plainswalker's Omnath build and misplayed but, still won because of its raw power.
