Partnered commanders and lots of 2-cost instants to use in various ways. Isochron Scepter can be a game winner, in a few cases. Wizards galore. Ping to your heart's content. Getting Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius and Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind out together is a blast. Sorceries were pretty unnecessary in the creation. Some of the combinations with the artifacts are just hilarious.

Oh, tried this deck against two opponents. Getting Willbreaker out was the win condition.
