Do you like control? Do you like bring a problematic player at your table? Tired of using the same ideas? Do you like making the game incredibly complicated? Do all of your decks run Rhystic Study ? Do you like Painter's Servant ? Has this ramble gone on long enough? Introducing: Llawan, Cephalid Empress .

This crazy Cephalid woman is a mother that likes to pretend she's a character in Hackers or Ghost in the Shell. Shes always taking about mainframes and cyberspace like a weirdo. But, how does she work? Her ability is a hilarious one. When she hits the field, she bounces all enemy blue creatures and disables your opponents from playing blue. Hilarious again many multi-color commanders, but not the best ability. That is the beauty of it though. This janky commander is actually the biggest anti-fun commander in the right hands. Slap down Painter's Sevant and bam, no more monkeys jumping on the bed. Roll credits.

"But wait, you can't run a Commander on two cards. No deck can competitively do that!" You say. Cough, cough Godo, Bandit Warlord cough, cough Well, for this instance you're right. That's why we have hacks. What is a hack? The ability to change keywords of colors in abilities. Douse only counters red? Trait Doctoring thinks otherwise. Hibernation bounces only green stuff? Not if you Alter Reality the right way. Or...your commander only bounces and denies blue creatures? HAH, Mind Bend DECLARING BLACK, BEGONE YAWGMOTH!!!! Is it an entirely viable strategy? Hell no, but we don't care. The goal is to hack as much as possible, winning is secondary.

So, how do we attempt to win? Excellent question, and the answer is through prayer. We have a lot of instants and surgeries, so we have a spell slinging plan through Talrand, Sky Summoner , Murmuring Mystic , Shark Typhoon , and Docent of Perfection   to swarm the board. We can all use the Painter's Empress lock and slowly chip away with Commander damage as well. If there are two left, the old Servant & Grindstone works too. Other than that, lots of politics. And patience.
