Brief Overview

Among the many Legends of Kaldheim, I found that Aegar, the Freezing Flame was the most promising for me. Especially in Combination with the other Giants of this set a nice little Giant-Tribal-Deck could be created. To be honest to the flavor of Aegar this Deck relies mainly on Cards from Kaldheim, with a little Splash of nice older Giants as well as a visit of Ral of the Izzet . The main aim of this Deck is to play as many Giants as possible and deal excess Damage to our opponents Creatures, either during our own Attack or by blocking.

Main Strategy

The Main Strategy of this deck is using his Mana-Rocks like Sol Ring , Izzet Signet or Replicating Ring to cast some Giants like Quakebringer or Calamity Bearer as fast as Possible. With the help of these Giants I than try to deal as many excess damage as possible, either by attacking into chump-blockers or by Blocking my self. This helps me to generate Card-Draw with the help of my Commander , which can further accelerate the deck.

Flavorful Giants

Since I wanted to create a flavorful deck I included all Giants from Kaldheim alongside nearly all Cards that are associated with them. Furthermore I tried to include Removal and Card-Draw Spells from Kaldheim as well to go well with the whole theme. Therefore I built a Manabase which relies on many Snowlands like Volatile Fjord alongside a big heap of Snow-Basics. Since I couldn't fill the deck with Kaldheim cards alone I included some older Giants from Lorwyn like Sunrise Sovereign or Giant Harbinger alongside the Titans ( Inferno Titan and Frost Titan ) and some other good Giants from other Planes like Shatterskull Charger or Thryx, the Sudden Storm .

Summary

All in all is this deck pretty flavorful and is fun to play. It might be not the strongest deck in my Collection but the whole Giant theme is pretty neat and the cards from Kaldheim help to stick nicely to the theme. The inclusion of cards from other Editions than Kaldheim helped to make this deck more consistent and boosted it's power level at least a bit.
