Sunrise Sovereign

Creature — Giant Warrior

Other Giant creatures you control get +2/+2 and have trample.

Red white giants might be better, as you get things like Feudkiller's Verdict and Hundred-Handed One. Also Sunrise Sovereign is really strong. Crush Underfoot is really good too. If you search for giants in the lorwyn block you will find some underused gems for sure. Also Palisade Giant will let you cast Thundercloud Shaman without killing off your mana helpers.

Pretty sick mang.

I think Borderland Behemoth and Sunrise Sovereign might be worth to be 4 ofs.

maybe some stuff like Explore or mana dweebs like Llanowar Elves. simply to get your bad boys out faster.

But you only have oneSwarmborn Giant and every giant you sacrifice decrease the effects on Sunrise Sovereign and Thundercloud Shaman...idk.

Anyways you know I don't understand the beauty of sacrificing creatures.

It is cool but I would:

Remove Bearer of the Heavens because your creatures might be very powerful and if they are all destroyed and your opponent has a quick agro deck you will have problems. Boldwyr Intimidator is not your best card here because you will have trample and your creatures will be more powerful than the opponents one in most cases so... and finally Bloodshot Cyclops Ummm... I think you shouldn't sacrifice your creatures because they are your attack and defence since you don't have anything to protect you, they are expensive talking in mana terms and you haven't got a way to return them from graveyard. I would put more Sunrise Sovereign in your deck.

If you are lucky or you have a teammate that can support you well protecting your creatures from opponents returns, destroys and that kind of things it should be easy to win.

I'd feel more confident running some Ondu Giant, Giantbaiting, Borderland Behemoth, Stinkdrinker Daredevil, Sunrise Sovereign. Some acceleration and stabilisation seems essential- Firespout perhaps. Good luck with the brew.

Here's way too long of a list of suggestions now that I know you're interested in Changeling Scarecrows.

If you have any more questions, I should have eaten my supper by then. Best of luck!

Giants have lots of good warriors: Furystoke Giant, Hammerheim Deadeye, Impelled Giant, Sunrise Sovereign, Inescapable Brute

I'd also recommend Savage Beating, World at War, Fury of the Horde and or Seize the Day. This deck wins by combat, so more combat is good.

Ocelot44 Thanks for the feedback! For some reason that escapes me now, I made a conscious decision to not include Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. Maybe it was her mana intensity, I'm not sure, but whatever it was it seems to have been a poor one. She is going in. Deathless Angel is out, for just being a lesser version of Avacyn.

As far as the Giant Tribal goes, I do want to try and maintain that aspect for this deck, if only so it differs from a lot of the Kalemne decks that are out there. Actually, I think that was why I resisted putting Gisela in, because every other deck was running her. What can I say? I'm a contrarian at heart.

I agree that Sunrise Sovereign is basically an equipment that costs 6 to give Kale +3/+3 and trample, which is strictly worse than Tenza, Godo's Maul, but I'm keeping him around on the off chance that I can get multiple giant's in play and overrun instead of OHKO. And Borderland Behemoth can also be huge in that scenario, so I'll keep him too.

As far as board wipes go, you are 100% correct. The last 3 times I played this deck I was begging for another wrath. I did have Wrath of God already sideboarded in, but I could definitely use another one. Day of Judgment or Planar Cleansing would be nice...or I could mainboard Bearer of the Heavens as another Giant too, thoughts?

As for equipment, man Godsend is really nice, if I were going to replace Vorrac Battlehorns it would be for that. It's now on the top of my list of acquisitions. Prowler's Helm is good, but I actually do play against a couple of Doran, the Siege Tower decks that are wall-heavy regularly, so that's a no go. I have Sword of Feast and Famine sideboarded, and I bring it in against decks where it provides relevant protection; unfortunately I don't own a Sword of Light and Shadow or I would definitely run that instead of Karmic Guide.
