My first Pauper EDH deck! This was both a pain and a joy to build, but I'm happy with how it shaped up.

The deck plays out like so:

Step 1: Ramp. We want to get our commander out by Turn 3 or earlier with some mana to spare.

Step 2: Generate tokens and apply Buffs. Bronzebeak Moa can grow HUGE for small amounts of mana. To give an example of this, let's look at Cartouche of Solidarity. Putting that on Bronzebeak gives it +4/+4, first strike, and makes us a 1/1, all for one white mana. That's insane! Granted, the +3/+3's only last until end of turn, but with enough token generators and buffs we could easily kill an opponent like snap with commander damage. Which makes us a target...which leads us to.

Step 3: PROTECT THE MOA! We have many protection effects, some indestructible, some regeneration, a couple totem armors, but the real all star of this is Fanatical Devotion. With this we have constant access to protecting our commander at the cost of one of our tokens, which is quite the bargain.

And lastly Step 3.5... Protect yourself! Not everyone is going to go after your Moa, instead they'll go after you! Usually we'll have enough tokens to chump block with, but even so we have around 5ish Soul Warden effects to pump our life total, and a couple of fight effects to remove big threats.
