Look, it was gonna happen eventually. I already have a spicy Syr Ginger deck, and the original non-fancy copy of her from that deck was lonely.

So behold, my WIP Golem/Token Brenard deck. Still need to dig deep into my collection to find all the cards i want in here, But the core works well - There's a million variations of the "Splicers & Chefs make a gingerbread army" out there

Me? We've got some fun boys in here like Soulherder, it gets bigger by flickering our dudes (Which makes more dudes) and when stuff gets exiled, if it's not the target, it also gets bigger, win/win.

Of course, when we have creature tokens floating around, why -wouldn't- we throw the classic Dark Depths in here for giggles, Thespians stage coming soon. We've also got ignis for some GY hate and food tokens, and Aloy to turn our boosted dudes into a cascading problem.

White classics like Land Tax & Dawn's truce help give us some speed and some one-sided sticking power, Throw in a few populate effects and a few tricks to protect our board further with stuff like hexproof, alongside the classic Darksteel splicer + Brenard trick (DSSp Dies, make it a food golem with brenard, it's now also indestructible) And of course we have a Skullclamp alongside Metallic Mimic and Patchwork Banner for even MORE boardwide buffs.

Few other cards i want to add (More dual lands/tri lands, Golem foundry/Artisan/Karn, etc.) but it's coming along nicely. Expect to see the list change as i get the time to dig out the rest of my intended list.

Ginger's got a friend now.
