This deck is a deck based on the principles of Wiccan Witchcraft, Hellenic beliefs and stereotypes around witchcraft. There are no humans included due to the fact we do not conjure humans, nor do stereotypes around witchcraft mention the conjuration of humans. Therefore, this deck only includes familiars, living elementals and more importantly, enchantment creatures.

The five elements of witchcraft are air, fire, water, earth and quintessence or spirit, depending on one's church of thought. In covens, there are officers (representatives) that represent each of the elements in a ritual. In solitary cases, the witch is the officer of all five. Spells associated with each element, such as Fireball, Explosive Vegetation, Tornado Elemental, are included. Familiars are a key part to many a witch's life: both Wiccan, non-Wiccan and stereotypes. Hence, the inclusion of Falthis, Cauldron Familiar (my new black car) and Druid's Familiar. Some witches practise divination.

Our primary power is based on emotion, belief, imagination and intent. Without any one of these the spell fails. Transformation spells (based on the element of Quintessence) are the epitome of this. Beast Within and Icthyomorphosis are some of these cases. The mind - knowledge - is important. Therefore, Research/Development is included. However this is where I go a little mad. I summon dragons, illusions, etc.

Spellbooks, crystal balls, cauldrons and elixirs are all included for fun but also because there are some witches who do make use of these. Witches can be monotheistic or polytheistic - believing in the God or the Goddess, or several different gods and goddesses. Hellenic and Egyptian gods, for example, would be worshipped next to each other. This is why I have included the Emissaries of several Theros gods and Sythis.

Curses are included for my own amusement in addition to the fact that these curses aren't necessarily evil. It is how one uses them. Magick has no colour: there is no white magick or black magick. It is all about intent. It comes down to the witch who casts the spell.
