amarthaler I was considering Bitter Chill during the initial deck build, but I shied away from it since it's not a Snow permanent. Card for Card it is definitely better than Winter's Rest, but the synergy with Isu is more important IMO.

My mistake, didn't catch those!
Another recent upgrade I found was Bitter Chill to replace Winter's Rest. Essentially the same card but with a upside to the enchantment leaving the battlefield. The downside is its not a snow permanent. I tried fitting both in my Jorn deck but preferred the card draw.

Some thoughts:

The big payoffs for playing all-snow are Marit Lage's Slumber and Dead of Winter. I would expect to see both of these cards here (ideally 2x Slumber, 4x DoW).

Some of your cards are too situational to be useful. Specifically Annul and Tangletrap are just going to be dead-cards in a lot of games - i’d suggest ditching them.

I’d also suggest ditching all your current enchants - Rime Transfusion, Winter's Rest, and Withercrown all just seem far too weak.

you should really be playing either Mana Leak or Counterspell rather than Anticognition - which has too narrow an application.

Rimebound Dead feels very weak, and only useful defensively. Zombie Musher also does very little for its mana cost. Better creatures include Abominable Treefolk, Priest of the Haunted Edge, and Frost Augur

if you want to go a little mean, you can add things like Winter's Rest and Confiscate. orvar can copy the enchantment and when the copy enters, it can attach to any legal permanent, even creatures with hexproof or shroud. you can permanently tap down their entire board or steal all of their creatures, one by one. Eldrazi Conscription and Blighted Agent are a favorite of mine.

"The Thing" 1982 Movie Deck

Testing 1v1 against my Kresh deck. The Thing has the potential to flood the board with annoying little tokens and a boatload of card draw, but that potential was never fulfilled. Kresh was just too aggressive. This list could not reliably stop Kresh from doing what Kresh does… destroy your board before you can build it.
When The Thing worked, it was during matches in which Confirm Suspicions or some other investigate spell gave you enough draw power to find answers. Twice I had to sac Kresh… losing his counters… and recast him because of Winter's Rest . But there aren’t many effects like it in the deck, and I had to dig deep for it.
Let me try with another deck that isn’t so destruction-focused, but my first impression is that this list needs more lands, and more ramp. I was forced to mulligan more than I'd like. A couple options that sorta fit the theme...

Also, you should get something more than just 1 mana when you sac a scion. Does Dictate of Erebos fit the theme? If too pricey, The Eldest Reborn is different, but offers fair value, here.

I like the direction you are going. Prismatic Vista, while not budget, will work well as a mana fixer.
4x On Thin Ice, pull a Winter's Rest for it.
You can cut 1-2 Marit Lage's Slumber and work in Glacial Revelation, as everything you have will go to your hand other than Rancor.
