Fun deck! Other good ramp you might want to include in this deck could be Burgeoning, Carpet of Flowers, or Birds of Paradise. Great value cards to add, in my opinion, are Esper Sentinel and Mystic Remora. These would all help you lower the curve. I would consider cutting a few less-valuable dragons, the more costly enchantments, or perhaps Mirror of the Forebears since so many of your creatures are legendary.

I've found the strongest allies can be is if you can repeat their ETB effects. Blink and cloning are the best ways to go about that. Graveyard retrieval is another option as well.

I've got tons of effects to make my allies recur over and over in my allies version. It's way more expensive (I originally built it as budget and had cracked most of the cards from packs at the time) but there are still some great budget finds in there:

Bounce For Me

My big suggestions for at least some protection/recursion from removal and some tricks (you don't have to go with the whole recurring flicker gimmick to get use out of some strategically done recursion... such as snagging more tutors out of Tazri) would be Eerie Interlude , Momentary Blink , Planar Guide , Rescue from the Underworld , March from the Tomb could replace your All Suns' Dawn since it puts them right back on the field. If you don't like the blinking idea Tazri, Beacon of Unity from your maybeboard can help repetitively dig for allies better than a one time tutor ETB from General Tazri will.

Also not budget, and it will make you do a lot of math since all the copies ETB and see each other at the same time, but Rite of Replication is one of the strongest cards allies decks can use, as well as Panharmonicon .

Other budget options would be Mirror of the Forebears from your sideboard since it can keep +1/+1 counters on it, and Distant Melody for big card draw.

Hey, well done for your first deck from scratch.

Some cards within the current budget to consider adding:

Could add all these cards for about $26.

Cards to consider cutting:

Worldgorger Dragon is a tricky combo to assemble because Worldgorger needs to be in your graveyard to reanimate it with Animate Dead. You don't want to ever cast it from hand or cheat it onto the battlefield with Kaalia. Sneak Attack cheating it on the battlefield is fine because then it will end up in your graveyard and you get your permanents back. You want to get Worldgorger into your graveyard and the best budget card that can do that is Buried Alive.

Currently here Angel of Despair is the easy win condition with the Worldgorger combo by destroying all your opponents permanents. But what happens if Despair is disrupted or exiled? Kaalia, Zenith Seeker can be a more complex enabler with the combo needing haste for all the creatures you put into your hand and get onto the battlefield. Bogardan Hellkite can be another easy, even truer, win condition with the combo because it does damage to each player each time it ETB which will be infinite damage with the combo.

Good luck with your deck.

711.8a If a player is instructed to put a card that isn’t a double-faced card onto the battlefield transformed, that card stays in its current zone.

Only game objects represented by double-faced cards can be transformed or enter the battlefield transformed. Since Mirror of the Forebears is not, the triggered ability will fail to return it to the battlefield transformed, and it will remain in the graveyard.

Why do I get the feeling this is not going to work the way I want. So yeah, copy Accursed Witch  Flip with Mirror of the Forebears... Mirrored copy dies... Becomes the curse?

Week of 08252020 Combo

Getting it out of the way early, this one's for all you EDH players:

Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero + Mirror of the Forebears.

Cast Mirror, name human or soldier (doesn't matter which, you only have one target). Cast Gerrard. Sacrifice a bunch of creatures/artifacts to Krark-Clan Ironworks or Ashnod's Altar or something. Make Mirror into a copy of Gerrard. Due to the legend rule, one of them is sent to the graveyard and (yes, I checked this in the comprehensive rules) it counts as dying. Send fake-Gerrard to the grave. With its "exile me" trigger on the stack, return it to your hand with one last ability/spell/whatever (Scrap Trawler sac'd to KCI, anyone?), let ability resolve. Everything comes back! If you're lucky this can go infinite pretty easily with KCI or literally a Sol Ring plus a sac outlet even, though it doesn't do much in this case.

You might be wondering why this is a notable combo at all. Why not just return real Gerrard instead? However, in Boros and most artifact decks in general, it's easier to return an artifact to your hand than a creature (because the death trigger will go off on the Mirror, but it will then just be a vanilla artifact in your yard).

Maybe you could consider adding Mirror of the Forebears, it’s a neat card that can give so much value if you copied something like Utvara Hellkite or Savage Ventmaw. Also might I suggest Sarkhan, Fireblood, it’s not a crazy card, but he’s really cheap and can ramp you a bit and allow you to sift through your deck some... his ultimate is not to terrible either.

also, and unfortunately Mirror of the Forebears is not Modern legal so I am not able to include it into this deck.
