Card interaction Mirror of the Forebears and Accursed Witch Flip

Why do I get the feeling this is not going to work the way I want. So yeah, copy Accursed Witch  ^Flip with Mirror of the Forebears... Mirrored copy dies... Becomes the curse?

711.8a If a player is instructed to put a card that isn’t a double-faced card onto the battlefield transformed, that card stays in its current zone.

Only game objects represented by double-faced cards can be transformed or enter the battlefield transformed. Since Mirror of the Forebears is not, the triggered ability will fail to return it to the battlefield transformed, and it will remain in the graveyard.
