Feaster of Fools

Creature — Demon

Convoke (Your creatures can help cast this spell. Each creature you tap while cast this spell pays for or one mana of that creature's colour.)

Czarnian90 on Hellegion, Shadows and Flames (Raphael)

After several more battles, things have begun to shift within the Hellegion. While the Balrog couldn’t even be bothered to wake, another giant is slowly taking the stage. Rakdos’s power and strength are rising, and so is his influence within the Hellegion. It’s becoming very likely that he’ll soon demand the position of commander.

Several black demons have stepped back, leaving Hellegion in search of their own designs. Who knows if they’ll return or reappear in another deck. I’ve heard whispers about Liliana — she would probably welcome some of them.

Feaster of Fools, Goremand, Arbiter of Woe, Dreadhound, Archfiend of Spite, and Embodiment of Agonies have departed. Perforating Artist no longer amuses Rakdos with his petty tricks, and the skeletons have turned to dust.

Rakdos’s growing presence is felt in cards like Rakdos, the Showstopper and Rakdos Joins Up. Juri, Master of the Revue joins to us, and there's now more spotlight for Judith through Judith, Carnage Connoisseur.

Belzenlok’s influence deepens with Rite of Belzenlok, and someone powerful has joined the Hellegion — Ardyn, the Usurper. Though his price is high and he leans heavily into black, I decided to accept his services.

But other beings circle the fire, waiting for their moment.

As Rakdos’s power swells, cards like Rakdos, Patron of Chaos and the guild’s signature mana rocks — Rakdos Cluestone, Rakdos Keyrune, Rakdos Locket — are seeing more attention to support the shift toward a stronger Rakdos color identity.

Infernal Grasp is another devilish trick straight from the pit.

The paths ahead are unclear. Dark beings still linger at the edge, ready to offer their power to the Hellegion — for a price: Skirsdag High Priest, Doom Whisperer, Overseer of the Damned, Spawn of Mayhem, and others...

I also cracked a Mount Doom recently and added it to the deck. I think it fits quite well here.

Have you considered Mayhem Devil? I think this card would be a big boon for your deck.

Also, if you're looking for sacrifice engines that are creatures, creatures with Devour are a great way to build big creatures. These include, but are not limited to, Caldera Hellion, Feaster of Fools, Preyseizer Dragon, and Thunder-Thrash Elder.

Also, since you have Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, I think you can get away with removing a few Swamps to add in more lands you sacrifice for lands. These include, but are not limited to, Evolving Wilds, Fabled Passage, Jund Panorama and Maestros Theater.

If you choose to go this route, creatures with landfall would benefit from this. They include, but are not limited to, Bloodghast, Moraug, Fury of Akoum, Nesting Dragon, and Toggo, Goblin Weaponsmith.

I hope this helps. Thank you for reading me out Happy Hunting!

Heya, I see that your deck is mostly lacking in card draw/ card acceleration. You have about 3 while most decks need 10+. Remove Costly Plunder for Night's Whisper so you don't have to sacrifice your demons. Remove Feaster of Fools, Spirit of the Night, Bladebrand, Grasp of Darkness, and You Are Already Dead (I know the meme), and add Dream Devourer, Bloodgift Demon, Herald of Slaanesh, Phyrexian Arena, Blasphemous Act, and Rakdos Charm.

I hope this helps your deck building. Other upgrades would mean removing Ecologist's Terrarium, Lightning Bolt, Grasp of Darkness, Warp Artifact, Insult / Injury, Price of Betrayal, Skulltap, Witch's Vengeance, Blight, and Inevitable End which are okay, but could be improved. Pick more cards that draw cards without condition or ramp on two mana, Wish you the best!

Welcome to the club, CaptainGuppy! As I see it, the plan is to use Squee, Goblin Nabob, Master of Death, Genesis, and Stinkweed Imp to fuel Zombie Infestation and Cryptbreaker. If this is right, I'm not sure Bastion of Remembrance and Feaster of Fools are quite right for this deck.

Since your return-from-graveyard-to-hand creatures can only recur themselves at your upkeep/draw step, and since Cryptbreaker is a mana+tap effect, I expect this deck to be putting out maybe 2-3 Zombie tokens each turn, at best. I would suggest focusing on making those tokens bigger and better. Diregraf Captain would be a replacement for Bastion, and something like Corpse Cobble for Feaster. Corpse Cobble also has flashback, so it can be discarded to Infestation and still be used. Cemetery Reaper is another source of Zombies that can eat your opponents' graveyard.

Genesis feels a little redundant; its most worthwhile target is the Cryptbreaker. If you like the effect, maybe try Wonder.

I'm building a similar deck with Demon of Catastrophes and Feaster of Fools (which you might consider--with Devour 2 it can get big, and with Convoke it can come out as early as turn 3).

Fetid Imp seems weak here. Your demons will dominate the sky, so you might consider more sacrificial creatures like Festering Mummy or Undead Augur .

All that said, I'm putting Tragic Slip in my deck. It's definitely > the Dismember I'm running.

+1!
