I was running an Abzan Rites deck, but it was a bit slow, and graveyard hate shut it down pretty hard. Control is fairly heavy in the local meta, specifically Teferi decks. Enter Veil of Summer! Leaving just one green open while casting allows me to hexproof my stuff from the many blue answers the deck runs, gives me card draw, and let's me actually play magic. This alteration of the original list is still a concept. I have dropped the grave recursion cards, added some tutors, and am hoping this change keeps the deck competitive.
