Long story short, lots of artifacts, particularly ramp and stuff that makes treasures, and with Chiss-Goria having haste, this deck can take off REAL quick.

Play Chiss-Goria, then pray a little every time he attacks. Lots of treasure generation and rocks to speed the gameplan along!

For the record, 6 treasures are all you need to cast the commander, since he'll see 6 treasures, dealing with the 6 generic in his cost via affinity, and then you sac 3 of them for the triple red. Though personally I'd use lands or repeatable ramp for that, if you can spare it, treasures are ridiculously useful to uh... hoard, I guess. Makes his attack trigger REAL easy to pay for things with.

Long story short, when you go to cast something with affinity, the mana value is locked in then and there, so sacrificing treasures to pay for the stuff WITH affinity, won't affect that affinity at all. Hence, 6 treasures = up to "12" mana to cast something with affinity.

Your ramp works in the same way kinda, arcane signet taps for red AND reduces a cost by 1, it's good stuff.

Also, as a mindset thing, a lot of people see Chiss-Goria's "Exile 5" effect and that none of them return to your library afterwards and see that as an enormous downside. I prefer to treat the exiled cards as though they were at the bottom of the library, where I probably wouldn't have seen them this game anyways. Or you can run Karn, the Great Creator to forcefully dig cards back out of exile if you want, you do you.
