@miracleHat I didn’t want to post this on the deck page because the answer is probably obvious and I’ll end up looking foolish, but I don’t quite understand how Hair-Strung Koto provides the win. Not saying you’re wrong by any means, I just don’t follow. Any chance you might explain it to me?

Win con suggestion... perhaps not best on theme except for triggering an opponent beyond all reason - Hair-Strung Koto (just as a single card).

The only substitute off the top of my head is Altar of Dementia, but that is more expensive(both cost and cmc) and does a worse job. Also Hair-Strung Koto but thats waaaay worse. I would probably play a different payoff if ur concerned about budget. Just from a quick look here's what I found:

Ajani's Welcome - infinite life W

Anointer Priest/Impassioned Orator - infinite life 1W

Auriok Champion - infinite life WW

Ivy Lane Denizen - infinite power on any target creature 3G

Attended Socialite - infinite power 1G

Imo you can cut 1 of them with no significant impact to your deck, or even replace them all with Ajani's Welcome. At the end of the day, infinite creatures is infinite creatures. 95/100 times you execute the combo you wont need a finisher, and in the case that you do it isnt 100% certain you will have on. Ajani's Welcome is good enough where even if all the tokens are killed it is nearly impossible to lose the game, as the only way to kill someone with infinite life is to have infinite damage, and combo decks are rare in 60 card formats. Hope this helped :)

Bloodcurdler/Peer into the Abyss I like because at first glance they kinda look like blobs but upon a closer examination you see the abomination

Foreshadow/Hair-Strung Koto: Give me haunted house vibes

Thought Scour/Pulling Teeth: Torture much?

Brink of Madness/Dreamborn Muse: Not inherently scary but becomes more and more unsettling the longer you look.

Grafted Identity: This is one I like because it doesn't really look scary but understanding the events leading up to someone sewing another's face upon theirs is rather terrifying.

bosny i've sorted it into general categories for ya. the main cog is curio for triggering and re-triggering EtBs (we're deliberately avoiding a storm win con) and another nice one is nexus for upgrading all your tribal EtB tutors (as well as treasure output, obviously)

Ruby Medallion and The Immortal Sun reduce the cost of your silly storm of creatures, Mana Echoes and Birgi, God of Storytelling  Flip can help you string your 2+ CMC creature spells along, and the Harnfel, Horn of Bounty side of Birgi is a nice bonus, especially if you've got access to Paradise Mantle and Cinder Pyromancer or Chandra, Fire of Kaladesh  Flip for {R} so don't be afraid to pick her up and redeploy once you're rolling, bouncing, rather

obviously there's that guy or Purphoros, God of the Forge / Kyren Negotiations for win cons... but wouldn't you rather mill your pod out with Hair-Strung Koto while playing every single instant and sorcery from their decks with Dire Fleet Daredevil ?

dare to dream, my little devil friend :)
