This is my version of a green, stompy deck. It's pretty straightforward in what it wants to do: "Drop fat creatures, turn them sideways."

Many people question why I went with Surrak, The Hunt Caller, instead of a more traditional commander, and my answer was simple: "He's different." Fortunately, in my play group, different meant, "ignored," which lead me to fire off in my first few games proving Surrak to be a more then credible threat. I have found that Surrak's formidable trigger is VERY easy to hit, and causes a lot of people to stumble. Especially in multiplayer, many players forget how dirty haste can be. It changes your threat from a lax "I'll deal with it on my turn," to "OH GOD, I NEED TO DEAL WITH THAT NOW!"

I love this deck and have been putting a lot of table time behind it. It's simple, and it works. It's a hammer, and the world is a nail.
