This deck is created for a budget tournament that will be happening in June 2018.

Rules: 1. 150.00 limit (excluding basic lands) 2. Penalized for destroying all lands 3. Penalized for forcing players to skip phases 4. Penalized for infect

My preferred play style is control. So, this creature/equipment deck lets me play the way that feels most natural to me.

Creature control: - Cephalid Constable - When equipped is great for bouncing multiple lands back to hand. Empress Galina - Yes, I'll take that Legendary Permanent. Thanks! Kira, Great Glass-Spinner - Some protection for my itty bitty critters. Phyrexian Revoker - Pithing Needle on a stick. Siren Stormtamer - Excellent counter effect. Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir - Yeah. He's here. Thassa, God of the Sea - Scry, unblockable if my commander is incapacitated

There are also quite a few creatures that draw cards on impact, such as Scroll Thief and Marchesa's Infiltrator. As a control player, I really like to draw cards.

To pack a punch, I included a handful of creatures that change power/toughness. Aetherling has great utility, and can smack for 8 each turn if necessary. Ingenious Skaab, with prowess, has the potential to really tickle if left unchecked.

For the equipment, the idea is to give +x+0 effects as cheaply as possible. For example: Bloodforged Battle-Axe is just broken. Captain's Claws - Gives another unblockable micro beater with each attack Hammer of Nazahn - Sure, I'm happy to attach the Bloodforged Battle Axe copies for free Prying Blade - Treasure == free mana. Thanks. Quietus Spike - This is fantastic removal bait, and if allowed to exist and hit someone will make for a fast clock.

Also included is a decent, cheap counterspell package. Spot removal by way of Pongify, Reality Shift and Rapid Hybridization

Mass Removal Aetherize, Cyclonic Rift (of course), Echoing Truth (to handle token swarms) and Inundate.

Other Control based on unknown meta: Graffdigger's Cage, Hurkyl's Recall and Dissipation Field

After playing about a dozen test games, made some changes.

Out: Mystical Tutor - Has been a dead card in hand for most games since there's so much card draw. Thassa, god of the sea - I'll miss the scry, but that's it. Don't recall all of the other cuts, but it was essentially for creature upgrades to have more controlling impact.
