Maybeboard

A golgari storm brew that wins with Aetherflux Reservoir (backup is Tendrils of Agony). The idea is to freecast 0-cmc X creatures that you constantly recur from the graveyard to build up a storm count, after which YOU WIN. The commander is Old Stickfingers, as he makes it really easy to get your creatures initially into the graveyard. On the flipside, you cannot rely on any non-0 cmc creatures without running into problems. The deck is very vulnerable to graveyard hate, but otherwise consistently wins around turns 9-10.

The general gameplan (assuming no need to cast boardwipes, targeted removal, etc) is as follows:

  1. Ramp as hard as you can until turns 6-7
  2. Cast Old Stickfingers for X as much as possible (10 max) to get your 0-cmc creatures into the graveyard
  3. Make sure you have one of each: wincon, creature recursion, creature draw when cast/enter
  4. Time to start storming off! Recur creatures, cast them for free, drawing new cards, recur them again, until you built up enough storm to either zap the table with Aetherflux Reservoir, or drain them with Tendrils of Agony (which you may need to cast twice using regrowth-style cards)

These cards are essential to winning the game:

These cards, while not the wincon itself, are key to executing your gameplan:

So far the list has been working very well, at least in my pods. It can't really keep up with super-fast decks, but otherwise it seems that given enough time it will consistently pop off. Think I'm going to replace Creeping Renaissance with Gravepurge, as it's much easier to cast, and additionally can serve as "graveyard protection" in a pinch. Will hopefully at some point get to writing a proper primer.
