Budget Voltron with HORSEMANSHIP!

This was my first deck from scratch. I can laugh AT this deck knowing how ridiculous horsemanship is as well as laugh WITH because he can dish it out when no one is expecting him too.

Update: I've been able to play my friends a few times with this now. Lu Xun does cost 4 CMC and he starts as a 1/3 so the first 3-5 turns no one at the table expects much from me and then start fighting between themselves. It's hard to ramp out with blue but when I get traction on my wheels and I start rolling, it starts turning into archenemy because they can't block and they're all searching for removal.

Update: 3-way game last night over quarantine webcam. Outmatched by higher budgets. One player kept removing him and he was taxed high while stealing control of my sitting equipment so I couldn’t have it. Other player did huge cascade combos and we agreed to scoop. I think he needs more ramp, haste, and protection. Basics.

Update: Another webcam quarantine 3-way game. Drew an optimal hand. Turn 1 Sol Ring. Played Lu Xun on turn 2. Gave him hexproof of turn 3. Nobody could muster any answers in time before I knocked them both out.

Update: Played 2 more games with Lu Xun. He can still have some scary turns but they're inconsistent and he lost both games. My next step is to put like $25 into him to slowly upgrade bits and pieces.

Update: Got Teferi in a booster pack. Instant include.

Update: I have retired this deck. Loved it but never saw another interesting escalation path other than adding extra turns. I have since combined a lot of the cards into a new Alela voltron deck. Also listed under my profile.
