Hamza is a sweet looking card, sweet art, sweet abilities, sweet creature type. I wanted to build this as Elephant/Rhino tribal, but it was turning a little too janky, so I built +1/+1 counters instead. Our commander rewards us for the number of creatures we have with +1/+1 counters, so we try to get off to a quick start with one-drops that give us counters, like Ugin's Conjurant and Honored Hierarch , so we can ramp into our commander and then into our pay-offs. The first version of the deck was pretty durdley, but our pay-offs now are pretty sweet.
