I haven't played paper magic in years and was invited to a kitchen table EDH FFA with 4-6 people. I've never played EDH before but i read the rules and drug out my stored cards. I looked through my stuff and pulled out some fun looking cards and now I've gotta forge a deck from this chaos. I am ok with buying a card or two but don't want to invest too much right now. Any suggestions would be great.

my buddy said they arn't too hardcore and their meta colors favor black, green, and red.
