People always say: "Ramp and card draw are the most important aspects in a good commander deck." or something like that. They are wrong. You dont need a hand, use it for something more useful, like drinking or grabbing a snack. That's why the Deck runs a lot of ramp and card advantage mostly in the form of looting and some wheels, which synergizes well with Laelia, the Blade Reforged, which can also be swapped for Hazoret as the commander.

Unlike otherHazoret the Ferventdecks, this deck does not want to aggressively swing with your commander every turn. This Deck tries to build up a board of indestructable creatures, that help protect against enemy attacks, get a bit of chip damage on to your opponents and win with Underworld Breach + Mana Geyser + Crackle with Poweror hitting Brash Taunter with Spitting Earth or equipping him with Blazing Sunsteel and infinitely ping himself and shoot the table for the win. Brash Taunter is definitely the MVP of the Deck! He synergizes with the damage based board wipes, he protects you, he does a lot of chip damage and he "combos" with a lot of cards in the Deck. My favorite combo with him has to be with Pariah's Shield. That's why we include Shifting Shadow so we can get him out faster.

Another great card is Ghirapur Orrery. That card lets you play two lands each turn and draws you three cards each turn! This card is amazing for this deck, but be careful as it can help your opponents as well!
