I just thought the Dragon Mage artwork was cool, and the effect seems interesting, so I built my first Pauper EDH deck around it.

There are a couple of strategies:

1. Commander damage & wheeling hands to prevent solid counter-strategies
2. Goblin tokens & burn spells based on creature counts
3. Cheap burn spells to pick off everything left

I've currently moved Skred to my Maybe board; if it gets included, you'll want to replace your Mountains with Snow-Covered Mountains to be useful.
