This deck is a legacy format... there are two different ways to win1. Dark Depths/ Thespian's Stage combo2. Helm of Obedience/ Leyline of the Void/ Web of Inertia
I have designed this deck with countermagic, search, and mass draw, so you can defend against early/fast decks, and other control decks....and support cards to help you in the control aspect of what you are trying to do...one of the key cards in this deck is Abrupt Decay.. to stop mostly Pithing Needle, which will stop either Thespian's Stage or Dark Depths or helm... Stifle is another card that will give you trouble.. as you can see in my list, i do not have Vampire Hexmages in my main board, because as soon as they are seen, my opponent knows what im doing... you can drop a stage down, and most people might think you are running depths... but it will confuse them until you do drop depths... hexmage is in my sideboard, as well as another depths and stage and boseiju.. that is why i run

, to find one of my combos...Inquisition of Kozilek is to shut down early countermagic, and removal, yea, it doesnt get FOW, but it makes it harder to cast it, because you take out one of their other blue cards....and you get rid of Swords to Plowshares, Innocent Blood, Diabolic Edict, ect.... or get a card from their combo.. a few cards that will give you trouble, and my response: Swords to Plowshares... Show and Tell (emmie).... Web of Inertia, Leyline of the Void, Helm of Obedience (if show and tell is cast)(the way you do this, save your Lim-Dul's Vault, UNTIL they cast Show and Tell, hopefully you do have a leyline in play, now dig, and dig and dig until you find either Web of Inertia, or Helm of Obedience...place on top, then win next turn, unless they have countermagic) the deck can win on turn 3 with depths, and turn 4 with helm... but just in case you have to go more then that, i put in Sylvan Safekeeper in... to slow your opponent down, and to protect your merit lage as well....Liliana of the Veil is in the sideboard against emmie... i decided not to run red, for fling, i wanted to run

, because its another win con, if they stop it i can just attack. you cant attack if you "fling" your creature away... and i also will have a Boseiju, Who Shelters All, and i can search for it with
