Commander / EDH* Artifact

feebacktc

This deck is filled with insane combos and win tactics that are mind bogglingly cool. If you like decks that are basically Rube-Goldberg machines that take twenty minute turns, then this is the deck for you.

Now for the combos...

  • [ ] Infinite Energy For Aetherworks Marvel (play all artifacts in the deck)

Combo Cards

Aetherworks Marvel, Retrofitter Foundry, Ashnod’s Altar, Dross Scorpion, Clock of Omens, Sai, Master Thopterist

Sacrifice a creature to Ashnod’s Altar to add two colorless mana to your pool. Spend that two mana to make a servo from Retrofitter Foundry. Sacrifice the servo token to Ashnod’s Altar to add two colorless to your pool. Every time the servo is sacrificed it hits the graveyard and is then removed from the game, but before it is removed, Dross Scorpion’s trigger happens untapping Retrofitter Foundry. Use that two colorless mana from the second servo to make another servo token. Rinse repeat. Every time a servo hits the yard, you get an energy counter for Aetherworks Marvel, resulting in infinite energy. Tap Aetherworks Marvel to look at top six, there will most likely be at least one artifact within the six, if not, tap Ashnod’s Altar or Retrofitter Foundry or any other of your artifacts on your battlefield to try again with Clock of Omens. Once you play an artifact from among the six you can look at, your commander, Sai, Master Thopterist, creates a thopter token. Tap that token and the artifact you casted from Aetherworks Marvel with Clock of Omens to untap Aetherworks Marvel. From this combo you represent on your board every artifact left in your deck in addition to a thopter token for each artifact casted from Aetherworks Marvel.

  • [ ] Valuetown (cast every card in your library with CMC three or less)

Combo Cards

Kuldotha Forgemaster, Servo Schematic, Dross Scorpion, Treasure Keeper, Scrap Trawler, Foundry Inspector, Etherium Sculptor, Palladium Myr, Junk Diver (interchangeable with Workshop Assistant), Sai, Master Thopterist

To get started, tap Kuldotha Forgemaster and search for any artifact by sacrificing Treasure Keeper, Servo Schematic, and the servo token spawned from Servo Schematic’s ETB trigger. Treasure Keeper’s trigger causes you to reveal until you reveal a card with CMC three or less. If the revealed card is an artifact, casting it triggers Sai, Master Thopterist creating a thopter token, use this thopter token later in the combo. Dross Scorpion triggers untapping Kuldotha Forgemaster. Tap it again sacrificing Junk Diver or Workshop Assistant and a thopter token and a servo token from Servo Schematic’s LTB trigger. In response to the Kuldotha Forgemaster ability, hold priority and tap Palladium Myr for two colorless mana. Junk Diver returns Servo Schematic from the yard to the battlefield with Scrap Trawler and it uses its own trigger to return Treasure keeper to your hand. Use the two colorless mana floating from Palladium Myr to cast Treasure Keeper, it is discounted by two from Etherium Sculptor and Foundry Inspector. Tap Kuldotha Forgemaster and sacrifice Treasure Keeper, Servo Schematic, and Servo Schematic’s servo token to repeat the process. When Treasure Keeper hits the yard, it returns Junk Diver to the battlefield from Scrap Trawler. If at any instance that Treasure Keeper revealed a non-artifact card, cast if for value, but sacrifice an additional thopter created by Sai, Master Thopterist or sacrifice an artifact you search for from Kuldotha Forgemaster. Or find Myr Battlesphere to create more sacrifice fodder for Kuldotha Forgemaster to continue the combo. You now represent the ability to play every card you wish to cast with CMC three or less and a thopter token for every artifact cast this way.

  • [ ] Mill Strat (make customizable amounts of mana to draw the table cards)

Combo Cards

Kuldotha Forgemaster, Servo Schematic, Dross Scorpion, Treasure Keeper, Scrap Trawler, Foundry Inspector, Etherium Sculptor, Palladium Myr, Junk Diver (interchangeable with Workshop Assistant), Desecrated Tomb, Ashnod’s Altar, Elixir of Immortality, Blue Sun’s Zenith (interchangeable with Fascination), Fascination (interchangeable with Blue Sun’s Zenith), Psychosis Crawler, Sai, Master Thopterist, Silver Myr (optional)

You need to have at least three blue mana untapped or extract mana from Silver Myr at least three times, this is possible with Dross Scorpion in the Valuetown combo. This combo is an extension of the Valuetown combo. However it cannot be infinite without killing yourself. Although, if the game has gone on too long or your playgroup has to leave, it can kill everyone at the table simultaneously including you. During the Valuetown combo, when you sacrifice Junk Diver, A thopter token, and a servo token to Kuldotha Forgemaster, have Desecrated Tomb on the battlefield. So when Treasure Keeper is recurred by Junk Diver, it leaving the yard makes a bat token. When Treasure Keeper recurs Junk Diver from Scrap Trawler, it makes a bat token. Now search for Psychosis Crawler with Kuldotha Forgemaster. Ask each player to count the amount of cards in their library to find the person with the most cards in their library. You must have either the same amount as someone else or more cards in the library than everyone. Depending on what that number is determines the amount of bats you need to sacrifice to Ashnod’s Altar. Whatever number is the highest, sacrifice half as many bats to Ashnod’s Altar. If the highest library count is odd, then sacrifice an additional bat to have more than enough colorless mana. Library size advantage can be achieved by sacrificing all artifacts to Kuldotha Forgemaster, just make sure the last few cards you have on the battlefield is Elixir of immortality, Kuldotha Forgemaster, Dross Scorpion, and any other one artifact. Then sacrifice Kuldotha Forgemaster to itself, Dross Scorpion, and any other one artifact besides Elixir of Immortality. Then sacrifice Elixir of Immortality to shuffle your graveyard into your library giving you potential library size advantage. Once that is achieved, then you use the floating blue mana from Silver Myr or tap two islands to cast Fascination, use X colorless mana from Ashnod’s Altar where X is equal to the size of the biggest opponents library plus one. They draw themselves out while you draw a ton of cards without you dying too in addition to the tons of damage they took from Psychosis Crawler. If an opponent has more cards in their library than you, you can use Blue Sun’s Zenith instead and have X equal to the highest health of an opponent. So you draw that many cards killing every opponent with Psychosis Crawler. You represent lethal damage and a game win.
