Welcome to Rakdos' Captivating Carnival! This deck is my attempt at crafting a completely carnival-themed masterpiece. "Carnival" includes card with thematic art and names, and/or strange "carnival"-like effects.

What's in the Captivating Carnival?

Demons, Devils, and Imps, Oh My!: The main creature types are demons and devils, many of which have fun "carnival" abilities, such as Master of Cruelties and Sire Of Insanity. These creature types also benefit from the tribal effects/resistances granted by Raphael, Fiendish Savior and Rakdos, the Showstopper.

Please Respect the Carnival: Almost a quarter of the deck is made up of sorceries and instants, many of which are spot-removal kill spells. To keep the fun going, Efreet Flamepainter, Charmbreaker Devils, and Wildfire Devils offer the chance for instant/sorcery recursion.

Everyone Wants to Join the Carnival!: Spells like Lorcan, Warlock Collector, Tibalt, Cosmic Imposter, and Captivating Crew offer the chance to have enemy creatures join the fun side! A special mention goes out to Illicit Auction for being an extremely fun "gameshow card" that also can achieve this effect.

The Star of the Show, Rakdos: Having Rakdos, Lord of Riots as commander allows the biggest performers to come out early! Plenty of sources of direct damage, such as Lightning Bolt make it so Rakdos never misses his own show!

Enchanting Amounts of Mayhem: High-caliber enchantments such as Captive Audience, Havoc Festival, and Rain of Gore keep games interesting and can turn the tide. The risk of hurting yourself just adds to the fun! (Looking at you, Tibalt's Trickery)

Fulfill Your Every Desire: Tutor cards like Burning-Rune Demon, Rune-Scarred Demon, and Gamble will grant you whatever insanity you want, when you want it! (Hopefully)

Please let me know if you have any suggestions. I am always looking to make my deck stronger, but theme always comes before efficiency. My goal is to have fun, but still hold my own in a casual setting. Thanks for coming to the show!
