Splice onto arcane spells are weird with copy effects: the copy gets the spliced text too! Here's a PDH deck built on that premise. Desperate Ritual + Izzet Guildmage + Lava Spike ends a game for 6 mana. Rootha, Mercurial Artist is an alternative commander if I take this to a lower-power EDH pod, but trades a win condition for a value piece.

The combo that this deck intends to win with is pretty mana heavy; it might be a good idea to slot in a dozen or so mana rocks.
