BDMD- Big Dumb Metal Dudes

This is an experimental lovechild of a mono-red artifact deck. Welcome!

This deck has very clear objectives: ramp up to absurd amounts of mana, keep opponents locked down and attack with your animated dudes. You try to keep your gargoyle-esque dudes as statues when you activate Diaochan while keeping here protected with some of the equipment included in the deck. It does have potential to have an indestructible board with Darksteel Forge and with some heavy finishers like Hellkite Igniter.

Another focus is using the large X cost mass kill spells. Since you will have either flying, indestructible or unanimated creatures, these spells are a primary source of damage as well as being a good way to clear the opponents board. Furnace of Rath is included for this reason as well as Vicious Shadows, to inflict even more pain. And of course, Hellkite Tyrant as a primary wincon!
