(~$25) Essence of the Wild Commander

Commander / EDH* Budget Casual Mono-Green Tokens

SirQuixano

Note: Essence of the Wild is technically not a legal commander. However, in casual matches, your playgroup may allow this creature to be a commander, despite not being legendary. For the sake of this deck, Essence of the Wild is not treated as a legendary, nor are his tokens.

The goal of this deck is to create a bunch of essence of the wild clones as quickly as possible to hit hard. Each clone will basically be a Vanilla 6/6 with the copy ability, so you can get a lot of them much faster than intended.

For this strategy, we need:

A good landbase, with plenty of utility and creature generating options

A decent amount of ramp, enough to get Essence of quickly. I chose creature ramp so that, if pulled later, can create more Essence clones. I am also counting land to hand as ramp, even though I probably shouldn't, for simplicity.

A lot of token generation so that we can get a lot of Essences very quickly.

A bit of Voltron equipment to help break through
