This update has gone through several different versions over the last couple of years actually, but the recent addition of Circle of Dreams Druid to the game and Quirion Ranger to Modern brought about a huge set of changes to this deck. With the benefit of another 3 drop Elf who can tap for massive amounts of mana, the deck is not only significantly sped up, but it also allows me to run one of my favorite infinite combos, which up until this point, really just wasn't feasibly in modern due to a lack of elves that tap for x. With 4 elves on the board and either Elvish Archdruid or Circle of Dreams Druid, you can tap for 5 mana, then untap for 3, and untap the Staff of Domination again for 1, netting 1 mana each time, hence infinite mana. Then with that and the staff you can also draw infinite cards and play your entire deck, or as much of it as is necessary to kill your opponent.

The next massive change was the addition of Quirion Ranger to the deck. It's ability combined with Elvish Archdruid or Circle of Dreams Druid acts as a mana multiplier, which drastically increases the amount of mana you can generate at any given point. Even in early turns or when your hand isn't going well it is extremely useful. For example, when paired with a Llanowar Elf or an Elvish Mystic, when you are low on lands, you can tap a forest and your Elvish Mystic, then use Quirion Ranger to bounce that forest to your hand and untap the mystic, replay the forest, then tap the forest and the mystic again. It is also useful when you tap out into a Genesis Wave, but it isn't enough to finish off your opponent, because any Quirion Rangers that the Genesis Wave brought into play, can be used to untap one of your Elvish Archdruid or Circle of Dreams Druid, in order to continue casting on that same turn, and keep snowballing your way to victory.

The rest of the changes were mostly centered around me needing significantly more Forest lands in the deck to pair with Quirion Ranger, hence 4 more forests, 4 Overgrown Tombs, and 1 Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth. The Westvale Abbey  Flip used to be in a previous version of the deck, and I've added it back in now, because although it is generally just a redundancy, there have absolutely been games where it was the different between victory now and my possible defeat on my opponents next turn, so I feel like it earns it's place, especially with the addition of Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth which can allow it to tap for green.

I have done hundreds of workbench games with this deck and it works fantastically. It's very smooth and a lot of fun. Although it can go off on turn 3, it averages turn 4.5 or so. When it comes to mulligans, never ever keep a hand that doesnt have a bomb in it, by which I mean a Genesis Wave, Primal Command, or a Regal Force. it's far too easy without one to rush all your dorks out and then have nothing to do with them. Also if the rest of your hand is good, don't be afraid to keep a hand with just a single land, as long as that land isnt a nykthos or the abbey. The deck can easily go off with just a single land.
