Slimefoot and Squee at the End of the Multiverse

Commander / EDH BRG (Jund) Reanimator Sacrifice Tokens Trample

"If there can be no victory, then I will fight forever." - Koth of the Hammer, Darksteel Plate

It's the end of an era, and even this unusual thallid and goblin duo will give everything they’ve got to protect their home from New Phyrexia.

After years of running Slimefoot's Aristocrats-heavy strategy, Slimefoot and Squee offered one of my all-time favorite Magic characters in a deck that focused more on the die-hard nature of its two oddball generals than simply draining the life from your competition. They empower big plays from the graveyard for reasonable mana costs and have been a blast to build around to indulge my inner Timmy. It’s a constant work in progress but I like having the flexibility to try lots of high CMC creature shenanigans I’d not usually consider running in a normal deck. Slimefoot and Squee embrace their combined mastery of living, then dying, then living again, WITNESS THEM!

While not as quick or aggressive as OG Slimefoot, the recursion effects should keep you and your board state resilient into the long games, as long as nobody graveyard hates you out of the game, and maybe even then!
