I'm sad about Gideon dying, so I'm building a Gideon theme deck. Gonna try to 8x8 it.

Gideon Planeswalkers

It's very handy for an 8x8 deck that there are exactly 8 Gideons. Kytheon, Hero of Akros   in the command zone, Gideon Jura the OG, tutorable Gideon, Martial Paragon and Gideon, the Oathsworn. Gideon Blackblade Gideon of the Trials Gideon, Ally of Zendikar and Gideon, Champion of Justice to round it out.

Planeswalker Support

Djeru, With Eyes Open, Gideon's Resolve, Call the Gatewatch,and Gideon's Battle Cry for tutoring. Gideon's Company and Oath of Gideon for extra loyalty counters.

Casting Assistance

Ramp and rocks: Smothering Tithe for treasure, Caged Sun for doubling, Sol Ring for obvious reasons, Burnished Hart for grabbing basics. May add Weathered Wayfarer and Land Tax eventually.

Oketra's Monument and Pearl Medallion for cost reduction.
