Kwende, Pride of Femeref Discussion

What do you think of Kwende, Pride of Femeref? 4 cmc is quite expensive but with all your first strike knights I think it would be a nice addition and finisher besides the equipments.

I think Midnight Reaper would fit in here perfectly. Thanks for that suggestion ill playtest that. History of Benalia is just too expensive for me tbh. Lyra Dawnbringer is justified because of her powerful interaction with the deck, but i cant add anymore high cost cards, and i dont think replacing her with those would be optimal. Was looking at Valiant Knight but chose Kwende, Pride of Femeref as the more immidiate, more permanent doublestrike mechanic. Valiant Knight is stronger, but Kwende, Pride of Femeref is faster. Ill look into Adventurous Impulse too.

i was thinkin more along the line of abzan with Knight of Grace, Knight of Malice, Kwende, Pride of Femeref and Lyra Dawnbringer. add Knight of Autumn and Status / Statue for some anti-enchantment tech, and then either go wide and add Conclave Tribunal as the final piece of the interaction puzzle, or go more controlly with Assassin's Trophy and some other stuff. maybe a copy of Undercity Uprising for that sweet first strike/deathtouch combo.

I had an idea which I wanted to share for a while. Let's face it; Pauper EDH isn't very popular. If anything, people avoid it due to the overwhelming amount of non-legendary Commons they can pick from to be their General. While it could be argued it breaches the spirit of Pauper, I think Uncommon Legendaries (Of the myriad of options we have, largely thanks to Dominaria and Masters sets) should be legal as Commanders for Pauper EDH. There's so much untapped potential in these creatures! Adeliz, the Cinder Wind could be incredibly good in Wizzet Tribal, Baird, Steward of Argive gives you what's essentially a white Propaganda, Bladewing the Risen could make Dragons interesting in Pauper again, Zada, Hedron Grinder is so much bigger than Valuetown she's practically the Value Capital of Value Country, Danitha Capashen, Paragon shows potential for mono-white Voltron, Grunn, the Lonely King has just as much if not more, Hallar, the Firefletcher could have interesting Synergy with Kicked spells, Ihsan's Shade which is an Uncommon thanks to Masters 25 might have potential, Iwamori of the Open Fist could do Legendary tribal better than Arvad the Cursed despite the Color identity, Jalira, Master Polymorphist could make for a great mono-blue Cascade deck, Kongming, "Sleeping Dragon" miiiight do something interesting, and Kwende, Pride of Femeref is another solid addition to the overwhelming amount of White commanders and acts like a slightly Nerfed Odric, Lunarch Marshal. And these are just the ones I thought were worth mentioning. I really want this idea to catch on, because Pauper EDH is struggling, and it saddens me.
Edit: I've been told that you can use any uncommon in Pauper Dragon Highlander. My input isn't nearly as useful anymore, but I would like to say that a lot of these have great potential for Pauper EDH nonetheless.

you may find plenty of use out of Oketra's Monument, dominaria also has some pretty good creatures in Baird, Steward of Argive as a soldier with a defensive effect, Kwende, Pride of Femeref on the other hand interacts well with archetype or field marshal changing that first strike into double. Brave the Elements can really save your board from red board wipes while also being an option to blast past another token deck's army.
if you find yourself facing some stronger commander decks Thalia, Guardian of Thraben can tax those cantrips and most combos competitive lists run, Stony Silence can shutdown the broken mana rocks, Angel of Jubilation can shutdown fetch lands and sac combos Rest in Peace stops those pesky reanimation and delve strategies.

Tribal is always a win in my book.

This deck is cute, and I'mma let you finish, but there's some issues here I wanna point out to you.
Also, I feel like if you have the budget to put in Resplendent Angel you may as well put the full playset in, because that card is BOINKERS.
Last point, relating back to your curve, is to try to get your 2-mana spells at least slightly higher than your 3-mana spells. I would suggest specifically, to drop 2 copies of Dub (only particular valuable with Kwende, Pride of Femeref interaction as well as a copy of Forebear's Blade (two is good with Danitha Capashen, Paragon, but it's kind of slow to set up imo to be drawing multiples). Serra Disciple is a fine replacement, and should be a 3-of at least, if you're going that route, because you want to reliably draw one early to get the most value of it's ability.
Ok, card suggestion time: 1. Blackblade Reforged!!! Seriously, you run so many legendary creatures here, and this card can quite reliably prove to be of the most porfitable cards in your deck. E.g. Turn 3: Cast Danitha Capashen, Paragon Turn 4: Cast AND equip Blackblade Reforged to Dani, and swing LARGE. What's not to love?
Seal Away. Seal Away may be a bit specific, but it's a cheap way to exile creatures, which is important if you're going to be up against Rekindling Phoenix, a card I absolutely despise, and you should too.
Settle the Wreckage This is more of a sideboard suggestion than anything, although slipping one in the mainboard is not gonna do you too wrong either. It may have a glaring "downside", but wiping their field should often give you the opportunity to win the next turn by swinging out (unless of course they do the same to you).
Alright, that's it for now, thank you for heeding my advice. I urge you check out a similar brew I just worked up I'm really proud of, found here: http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/resplendent-vampires/
I will cite that both of our decks have the same "competitive meter", which I firmly disagree on. That's not to say your deck isn't just as competitively viable at a conceptual level, but the effort I spent gathering statistic data, to grant this deck a favorable outcome in the probability that it's going to pop off in one way or another, should be picked up on by the "competitive meter".
