This deck is all about the birds, baby! This is about a solid 7 power deck that uses Donal, Herald of Wings to create lots and LOTS of birds. There are some cheeky little plays in here, but for the most part it's a pretty straight forward. Create copies of birds, draw cards, bounce creatures, make birds bigger.

Early game, you should be doing a lot ramping with mana rocks. Also, feel free to play any birds (especially legendary ones, as they can't be copied by Donal anyway). You will be able to bounce them back to your hand easily later in the game unless you get very unlucky. Some of the cheekier early drops to look out for are birds like Dream Thrush, Mindshrieker, Hakka, Whispering Raven  , and Esior, Wardwing Familiar. But you should focus on getting out artifacts when and if you can. An early Herald's Horn, Sapphire Medallion, Cloudstone Curio, Portal of Sanctuary, or Panharmonicon can really help boost your power by mid game.

Once you get to turn 5-8, you should be either starting to turn on online, or already have a pretty great board (depending on your luck). Once you reach the mid-late game, there are 4 different types of cards you're looking for.

Enchantments like Reflections of Littjara, Storm of Saruman, and Extravagant Replication (in addition to Panharmonicon) help you create up to a maximum of 6-7 copies any time you cast a bird. You can disable 7-8 lands with Dream Thrush, Scry 21 with Augury Owl, draw 7 cards with Raven Familiar, goad 7 creatures with Coveted Peacock, or just make 7 Ledger Shredders.

You should also keep an eye out for cards that make your birds powerhouses. Spells like Door of Destinies, Gravitational Shift, and Heraldic Banner all make your birds hit harder, while huge birds like Rimefeather Owl, Ledger Shredder, and Messenger Jays can go in for the kill. Rimefeather Owl specifically is a heavy hitter, especially if you can get a lot of copies of it. Remember that the copies all count towards the count of snow permanents!

Cards like Vedalken Orrery and Leyline of Anticipation help you get off extra copy triggers on other people's turns. Now you can throw down a surprise Palace Familiar for a chump block with a pumped up bird and get some card draw out of it. Throw down a Mist Raven to send a few creatures back to hand and save someone's life. Play Esior, Wardwing Familiar to counter a spell targeted at your commander! A lot of fun plays here.

In addition to all the above strategies, be on the lookout for card draw. Wizard Class, Thought Vessel, and Curiosity Crafter all give you no repercussions for the draw you get, and Wizard Class has the added bonus of making your birds more powerful. Kindred Discovery, Bident of Thassa, Skullclamp, Distant Melody, and Airborne Aid all give you consistent draw that you can use to get more options for your tricky plays.

All the other cards are pretty standard mono-blue. I'm sure this deck would be more powerful if it wasn't bird-themed, but I like the quirkiness.
